   Amazing dinner and service. I visit quite often, first time they had crab fried rice on the menu. It should be a daily side in my opinion. Shout out to the bar tenders, especially Taylor!!

   Mac’s charges a credit card processing fee. Not a fan. Service was mediocre. Had to request a couple of things multiple times from our server. Just cannot hang with the other metro ATL steakhouses.

   This was my 4th time to dine at the Chop House. My son's father is visiting from NY and when I told him about it while he was planning his trip, he looked at the menu online every day! He told me to make a reservation and the best time we could get was Christmas Eve at 1:45 pm. That time actually worked great for us. The food did not disappoint! Will definitely be back again.

   Enjoyed our Christmas Eve lunch at Mac’s chophouse. Service was excellent and really enjoyed all the food. Started with smoked old fashions for the husband and pimento cheese fritters. Split the 22 oz ribeye. All the food was delicious. Ended with the banana cream pie which is very large. Split it and still brought half home. Four people could split this dessert. It was really good. Highly recommend trying this place. And loved the decor.

   We enjoyed our Christmas Eve lunch, however, the website was very misleading because it showed a Christmas Eve brunch (that we found out was for 2023 not 2024). So we showed up ready and excited for brunch only to be extremely disappointed when we were told it was last year. It was not stated online that it was for 2023 and since it popped right up, it appeared to be this year.

   Happy Hour, Mistletoe and Martinis, is an excellent value. The food and service are excellent. Our only disappointment was being seated upstairs despite having 3:15 reservations which were made at least 10 days in advance. We were told seating downstairs was full. The upstairs has a cold, stark atmosphere, but after about an hour it improved because others began to be seated upstairs.

   We were greeted promptly and courteously upon arrival, our reservation was honored and we were seated right away. Bryson was our server and was personable, helped us with the menu choices, beverages, and starters. Our dishes were delivered timely, our food well presented and delicious, and the crabcake benedict was delicious as was the lobster bisque. I highly recommend the pimento cheese fritters, a delicious starter. Great value. Great ambiance. Impeccable service. 5 stars.

   We celebrated a friend’s birthday here. Food: our party was split down the middle when it came to what we ordered; Appetizers - crab cakes(actually you only get one), soup, charcuterie board, salads, and oysters. Generally low to minor complaints about the charcuterie board (meat was too cured for personal tastes).The salad was also brought to us with quite a few brown lettuce pieces which was….um. I’ll leave that there. Oysters got no complaints (Alabama River). Dinner - steaks, the chefs special (halibut and a shrimp with a corn spinach risotto), and lamb chops. Everyone said that the red meats lacked seasoning/flavor. The lamb chops were underwhelming for the birthday girl and other guests and that sucked. The chefs special tasted great. Overall, Mamit our server was great, the ambiance was cute, but the flavor was trailing. We were seated upstairs which was awesome to see and experience but given the decreased volume of people up there, it took way too long for service (bar and food wise). Overall, if you are in the square I would say stop by for sure for ambiance, but you could choose different establishment if your expectations are a little more refined.
