   Fantastic meal and service at Macellaio RC Soho last night. We had a Virgin voucher for 2 courses plus Prosecco. The food was fantastic we had ravioli and a cheese burger with circular crimped “chips” plus Tiramisu and a beautifully presented rose filigree pastry apple “pie” with sauce. Everything tasted beautiful and authentic. Service was excellent friendly attentive and efficient. Staff knew we were catching a train later and speeded up a bit. The restaurant was full before our 6.30pm booking so we had a stroll and seat outside for 15 mins. I would definitely return with friends and family. Ideally located on Shaftesbury Avenue in between two theatres. Other diners were eating huge shared platters of beautifully cooked meat, and everyone looked very happy, as were we.

   Amazing steak night!! The food and the wine is simply amazing if you are out for a steak night. But it all gets better with the impeccable service. Our server Fidan made sure we mad the right choices and we were well cared for the whole night. Really enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

   Our family group of 11 had a fantastic post matinee meal at Marcellaio. The food was absolutely delicious (the Revolver cut was the best of the impressive selection we shared, melt in the mouth) and Danny looked after us brilliantly and with great humour. Will absolutely be back. Thank you to the whole team!

   Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had. A tad expensive but totally value for money. The Revolver steak (for 2) was THE best. The carrots were wonderful, the tomato salad spectacular and overall the service, ambience and food was sensational. Just not a huge fan of bone marrow but that’s just me! I shall be back!

   Literally next door to Les Mis at the Sondheim Theatre and a delicious pre-theatre menu (2 courses £26). They are butchers so obviously pretty meat based but not exclusively. Great wine and service too.

   The choice of meat is outstanding and it’s beautifully cooked. Waiters are knowledgeable and attentive, creating a great atmosphere. Price is high, but value is reasonable. Recommended for a treat!

   Accueil sympathique et restaurant agréable. La viande est bonne, les burgers aussi, les plats de pâtes décevants. La carte des desserts est petite et ils n'étaient pas à la hauteur du reste. Les prix sont particulièrement élevés. Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant avec des enfants.

   This restaurant was disappointing, it charges top prices but is not a patch on restaurants like hawksmoor. It took a while to be offered a drink and they only had 2 gins on offer and a plain Schweppes. The two starters we chose were not available. The steak is top end price, it was ok but lacked flavour. The chips were crisps not chips. We were not asked if we wanted any condiments with our meal. I would not recommend.

    Was put on a table split up from what was previously a 4top, so was pretty squished in. Whenever the door opened a cold draught came through too, which wasn't pleasant. When asking for still water, was served sparkling When ordering drinks, these took a long time to arrive, even arriving after the food. When they did, a vodka, lime and soda was actually made with lemon and probably a lime cordial which, for nearly the price of a cocktail elsewhere, was poor and felt more like something akin to a being in a regular chain restaurant. In fact the cocktails in Zizzi are better and cheaper. When asking about being Coeliac, was advised about cross contamination of oil but clearly not actual contamination, considering I'd then, a few hours later, found I'd been 'glutened' and spent the whole night with terrible cramps and urgent 'toilet troubles'. Thanks guys. I appreciate it was my decision to take with a risk of cross contamination but it seems that 'risk' was more of a certainty. The waiter actually thought Coeliac was a milk allergy. Not great. Good job it wasn't a nut allergy. I'd have keeled over by now. The food itself overall was ok. The meat itself was very good and up there with other similar restaurants but the chips were soggy and lifeless and definitely seen better days. Overall, for literally only having two courses and one drink each, for two of us coming in at nearly £210, the experience was meh. Second time I've been. Won't be going back in a hurry. Hawksmoor for a similar price is much better, especially the Air Street one and I imagine from what I've heard, so too is Ibai, which, for similar or slightly more, will be far superior.
