   Lovely setting with friendly servers. We ordered a Prosecco and an Aperol. Both weren’t very nice as the Prosecco used tasted very cheap despite it being £12 a glass. We were only having a light dinner and ordered nachos and fried chicken. The chicken was fried well and was really nice but the nachos were inedible. They tasted burnt despite looking slightly underdone. The couple next to us had just got engaged and ordered a steak which they specifically requested peppercorn sauce even though it wasn’t on the menu. We thought this was odd as most places would have peppercorn as a sauce option- although to their credit they did manage to rustle something up- and wondered how many people were disappointed when ordering a steak and not having their favourite sauce available. Sorry to say we won’t go back and hope this helps them refine their menu options.

   We had a fab lunch. Despite it being a Rugby day and the place was packed, the service and the food were outstanding. All The staff are brilliant. And a special shout out to Matthew as always.

    The restaurant was absolutely fantastic and the staff did a really great job, totally unflustered even though the venue was exceptionally busy - absolutely heaving. There was a super atmosphere although the sheer number of people meant the noise level was a bit high at times. None of this detracted from the amazing standard of food served and we really enjoyed our evening. Service times were reasonable but slightly slower than ideal, but that must be down to the level of custom. Far better the successful, vibrant and lively atmosphere than an empty venue struggling to survive. We were shown to our table exactly on booked time and overall it was superb. Biggest comment on the food would be the Eton Mess, which is not the traditional meringue plus strawberries. Had to mark them down because of the substandard booking and review system they use - really would be worth seeking a user-friendly booking service. All I want to do is book a table for a meal out, not struggle with endless security checks.
