I had the most amazing time at Luxbar celebrating my sisters birthday. Our server Jess was a pure gem. My sister really loves their crab cakes, unfortunately they were sold out but our server made sure the birthday girl had what she wanted by ordering it from their partner restaurant Gibsons. First class experience! I’ve never had a bad time at Luxbar. Thanks again Jess!

Just be aware that there is a chance you get a terrible table, even when you make a reservation. Our table was a high top right next to the door (it’s winter so it was freezing) and people waiting for their tables were crowded around us and bumping into our chairs. The food was fine. I got truffle fries and they were soggy but the burger was good. Brussel sprouts were soggy and not great as well. The drinks were by far the best part, my espresso martini was very good

Food was fantastic, great service but the noise level was insane. We were sat in the back with larger parties and it was difficult to hear each other. Otherwise, no complaints.

I have eaten here numerous times. Each time is incredible. Amazing service, food, ambiance, and overall experience. It is busy but there is a reason. Will be back again.

A FAVE hotspot in Gold Coast. And Chicago in general. Great staff. If you want a quieter dining experience, request their upstairs seating. Great value and incredible service. Plus a beautiful old Chicago feeling venue. Love LUX!
