   We thought the ambiance was very good - we could actually hear each other talk! The food was outstanding. The four of us each ordered something different and all thought their dishes were excellent. The service was perfect: attentive without being overbearing. Highly recommended!

   One of the best seafood restaurants in Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Very fresh and well prepared. The chef did not overpower the fresh seafood was seasoning, so the freshness and natural flavor shined through. The service was attentive, respectful, understanding, and thorough. Overall a wonderful experience.

   Great place to go for great seafood. Lots of great things on the menu, but their fish and chips is excellent, with large portions of crispy batter deep fried cod. My wife typically orders the lobster ravioli. The also have a nice kids menu with choices of comfort food for kids. Lure is among my top three picks in Scottsdale.

   The service is always excellent. The restaurant was busy but we had attentive service. It is my favorite seafood restaurant in Phoenix. The fish is always fresh and perfectly cooked. My one complaint is that the My potato cake was served obviously burnt. The top was black and hard. I am astonished that it was served. As soon as I brought it to the attention of staff the agreed and brought me another. This one was also burnt, albeit not as harshly burnt as the first. When they replaced that one they gave me a cold oily cake stating that the Parmesan darkens and that was the only way to serve it not burnt. This answer is condescending- my table mates was perfectly golden. I have had that side multiple times cooked and presented well. I'm just a little annoyed that they treated me like I don't understand properly cooked food.

   Lure has a variety of fish offerings. Our dining time was early and we were seated at a booth in the requested area of the restaurant. Our server was pleasant, friendly, attentive and appeared skilled at explaining the various dishes on the menu. My dining partner was very pleased with her order. I had a different experience. When my meal came, the potato cake was undercooked and cold. The server left the fish and chips for me to eat while leaving to get another potato cake but it took a long time. When it arrived, my fish got cold, so I had to eat the new potato cake separately and then eat the replacement fish and chips. Not the best sequence but everything tasted fine.

   This was our second visit. We had such a wonderful dinner the first time and we brought friends for a Thank you present for caring for our dog while we were out of town. We were keeping our fingers crossed that the second time would be as good and it absolutely was! Maybe even better. The food is terrific. The raw oysters are fabulous. The calamari is SO tender. The grilled oysters were over the top great. Delicious Cioppino! Reports on the grilled fish - Sand Dabs and Trout were fabulous. The service is just right. Friendly, attentive. Not to hurried. Our only issue is the noise level is very high. This is a great value and we'll be back a 3rd, 4th, 5th.... etc time.

    We sat outside because it was quieter. Our waitress Lindsay was very pleasant and met all our needs very quickly. We had the Lure Cioppino which had very fresh shellfish and a delicious tomato broth. We also had the Rock Fish which was fresh and delicious. I have to mention the fabulous pineapple slaw and the perfectly sautéed spinach. All of this plus 2 glasses of wine…came to $81 before the tip… a very fair price for high-quality food. Bravo! We will return on our next visit. I highly recommend his restaurant.
