   Wonderful place. Choice of menu excellent. Lovely dishes, plenty of flavours. Beautiful surroundings. Wine and cocktail choices unusual and good value. This is not your run of the mill restaurant. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. I really can't wait to come back again. Thank you.

   The food was absolutely amazing ! The service unfortunately didn't match for me personally. I felt I wasn't attended to in a timely manner and felt I had to keep trying to make eye contact to get attention. On ordering food, ordered starters 1 didn't turn up seems like they missed it as they had to come and ask what we'd ordered, When my soup arrived I had no spoon to eat it with and wasn't spotted by the waitress on bringing it to my table. Oh and got the bill wrong at the end as well. However I must stress the food was amazing ! We will try again as this may have been a 1 off.

   They definitely know how to make the customer feel special. Great service, exceptional food and a warm relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

   3rd time lucky? We've done the taster menu (previous chef) which worked out at £650 for 4. Good not great, and I've had the opportunity to eat at amazing restaurants. So disappointing. Next was a three course lunch last year for 2, £165 with one bottle of wine, again good not great. This time, three courses for £30 each, spot on! But...service was hit and miss, a combination of over and under qualified staff...the kicker, the wine list starts at £40 per bottle and a pint £7.50. The venue is dark, not very welcoming and the mood it sets is bleak. With the Paragon group just around the corner it's hard to justify the price. Give it a go, but I reckon you'll prefer the Wayfarer or even the Upper House for a Sunday lunch.

   Fabulous lunch at Lunar today! Or first visit, but we'll definitely be back. We went for the 2 course lunch deal which is great value, but the food was so good that we ordered sides and desserts. The service was helpful and friendly throughout and they did a great job with my mocktail and our half shot lattes (not many places get that right!). Thank you!

   We used this restaurant in the past and it was amazing. However there has been a recent change in management and the standards have dropped. No one approached us after the food was served to check that we were happy with the food is just one detail. In the ladies toilets there was paper in only 2 out of the 5 cubicles and no hot water in the taps for hand washing. These are minor details but if things like this are slipping what else is below standard for what was a Michelin starred restaurant?

   Lunar has never held a Michelin star, is not striving for Michelin stars, Lunar is not under new management and has a truly wonderful, passionate team who work tirelessly to give our guests great quality food, beverages and an overall quality experience at what we consider to be a fair price point. In any hospitality setting please always talk to the team wherever you are, tell someone if there is no hot water, we need that help, we don't always get it right, we're human but in our industry boy do we work hard to try to get it right. The lack of toilet paper is disappointing to read from our perspective and we are sorry we did not check in after your food was served but not sure these warrant a 2 star review!

   Beautiful lunch we had the 2 course special for £22.50. The sweetcorn soup was the nicest soup I have ever tasted a large bowl and steaming hot with beautiful bread and butter. Divine I wish I had ordered two soups. Main course fish and chips large portion and cooked beautifully. Everything was lovely and the staff were nice however it was busy and there were only three staff on which was not enough as we waited a good 45 mins between the starter and main course to come out which was a shame as this did spoil it a little. This is not the fault of the staff as they were working very hard but it was obvious to see they needed more staff. Would definitely recommend and will be going for the Xmas lunch special in December hoping that the butternut squash soup is as nice as the sweetcorn soup.

    First visit and hopefully will not be our last! Absolutely lovely food and surroundings! It was very busy and the staff worked very hard but were very pleasant, professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
