We are quintessentially southern with a distinct Louisiana influence. We are Lula Restaurant-Distillery.

As the first and only restaurant-distillery in New Orleans, Louisiana and in the Southeast US, we promise to offer you an incredible experience in the shadows of our copper still and along the historic streetcar line of St. Charles Avenue.

    I was there with group of 5. Everyone was satisfied with their dish, especially the lamb chops. It looked like understaffed that it took a while our server to come to take our order. Overall the experience was nice and enjoyed the night there.

    My partner and I came for our Valentine’s Day brunch date. The food was great especially for the price. $20 per person endless vodka with juice/mixer bar was definitely worth the value. We tried the pomegranate lemonade, fresh OJ, and Bloody Mary mix with the vodka which were all great. Our server (I believe named Edward) was nice and attentive—poured drinks or got refills for us as needed even though the juice/mixer bar was technically self serve, gave us helpful recommendations, and was overall very friendly. We will for sure be coming back to try lunch, dinner, and cocktail menus eventually. Overall, great vibes, great quality, great value—would recommend. (Oh, and definitely try the crawfish queso with the fried wontons!)

    We had a lovely dinner. Dane offered us great service and answered all of our questions about the food. The osso buco was delicious. My dinner mates got the ribs, the burger, and the red fish. We also got the catfish queso and the peach purse dessert. All was very good. Would definitely return the next time I’m in New Orleans.

    This was my second time visiting Lula…..The service was good however, the boudin egg rolls weren’t hot or flavorful. Also, the buffalo shrimp and fries only came with a little sauce.
