Evening started off well. We had a nice ferry ride. We were treated immediately and shown to a table. We ordered drinks/wine and a bread plate. The owner came and introduced himself. The setting is beautiful. We had ordered a few appetizers and entrees for our table of 6. 30min went by and we were told by our server that the apps should have been up but they would be ready in 2-3min. 30 more min passed and still no apps. She told us that she would check again, put a rush in entrees as well and notify the manager. The manager came by and apologized and said he would remedy it with desserts or after dinner cocktails but was not specific. At that point the service/kitchen were running so behind that we were not going to get our food in enough time b4 our designated ferry departure. Our server checked and we could get on the last ferry buying us 30more min. The apps and food came and it was really good. We asked again about compensation that was promised and were offered free dessert. We got one of each of the 4 desserts to go since we were now barely making the last ferry. We ate our desserts once we arrived back at our villas. The desserts were less than ideal by that point. They were fine but nothing amazing. Might have been better had we been able to eat them right away.

Having stayed at their sister property in Martha's Vineyard a few months earlier we had to come over for a meal while celebrating a return anniversary in St. Thomas. Everyone, from the ferry crew to the resort staff could not have been friendly and, more so, fully efficient and competent. Saturday nights the resort's upscale restaurant is closed and instead there is a much more casual offering. It is, however, no less terrific I'm certain and for our evening, just perfect. The evening was a very special one thanks to the associates and team members, chef especially.

Gorgeous setting, easy access by Lovango shuttle boat, delicious and beautifully presented food with variety of menu offerings, and superb service make for a perfect evening!

Amazing experience. A beautiful resort, very friendly and accommodating staff who seemed truly happy that we were there. It felt like a secret getaway from St. Thomas and St. John.

We stopped in here while on a day charter boat exploring the USVI. We had been here for dinner (amazing!) last year and thought it would be a great break from sun and snorkeling. It did not disappoint!! Highly recommend this amazing facility.

We love St. John and the USVI and wanted to try something new for my wife’s birthday. We were definitely not disappointed. Excellent, Excellent food. From the Poke to get us started, and the Beet and Avacado/Heirloom tomato salads, to our Gnocchi, Snapper, Crabcake and Scallop mains we loved it all. The pain killers and Pineapple Rum cake were just over the top. The staff was great and Jimmy took good care of us and dining right by the water watching the sunset was magical. Well done!!
