The Botanical Garden is lovely and dining here while visiting just adds to the experience. Atmosphere is lovely whether you sit inside or outside. Our waitperson was exceptional. Food was beautifully displayed and delicious.

We enjoyed our lunch very much. Sitting outside in the garden was lovely. I thought the prices were quite high for what you got, however: $34 for a poached pear salad and glass of wine? They only offered one Chardonnay and it was more than my meal. Would have been nice to have had a house wine option.

Food was delicious, server was fantastic however the kitchen was extremely slow. 40 minutes to get out a flatbread was too long.

Great patio and menu. Service is always pleasant and attentive but the bar is always behind on getting drinks out before food. They need more staff. Overall a consistently creative menu that still feels like comfort food and a reliable go-to. It’s one of my top 10 in town.

The menu is small, but always creative and with both vegetarian and carnivore options. The service is always friendly, and the food is delicious. And the location and ambiance are wonderful, with beautiful surroundings whether seated indoors or out. Be sure to make a reservation, though, both to avoid a long wait and to confirm they are not closed for a special event.

Another great experience at Longleaf. Our outdoor request on our reservation was accommodated, lovely table in the shade. The seasonal menu always has something new to try, and the classics remain on the menu year around. Attentive service, delicious food. We’ll be back.

very slow service. although we had a reservation, we had to wait behind walk-ins to be seated. it took 45 minutes to get our food -- three meals came together, then we waited for the fourth.
