London Street Brasserie is the second award-winning restaurant by owner and proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000 next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim and Michelin recognition and has also been voted restaurant of the year.

Lovingly called the LSB by regulars and locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area and a must visit for foodies.

    Very welcoming team, nice atmosphere with lots of full tables even though it was a Weds lunchtime. The lunch set menu had plenty of variety- my friend had haggis to start, I had the delicious gravlax and we both had an enormous plateful of osso buco which was tender and very tasty. We opted for a bottle of the Baussac which was recommended on the menu and enjoyed it very much. Just the right amount of attention from the team throughout. We had a really lovely time - great food, very nice surroundings, we will be back! Highly recommended.

    As usual absolutely super. Come down regularly now to meet up with two uni student children. Never fails. We love it here. Can’t fault anything at all and of course the food is fresh, imaginative and well presented. The menu is so wide there’s something for everyone, even me who follows a fodmap diet for IBS. Thank you to all the super attentive but not claustrophobic waiting staff. All spot on.

    My boyfriend and I had a fantastic birthday dinner! We started with delicious oysters and duck, paired with some lovely Prosecco. The main course of lamb and venison was absolutely incredible, and we enjoyed it with a bottle of Rioja. Maria, our server, was fantastic – so friendly and helpful. The only thing that wasn't quite right was the babbà, but it didn't spoil our evening at all. We had a truly wonderful time!"

    Excellent service. Placement at a table I requested beforehand was brilliant. Food was lovely..slightly rich for me but that's what they deliver, so can't really complain, Massive portions. Only real gripe was the price... But I think in this day and age with rising costs to be expected.

    Amazing food. Service was efficient without being intrusive. We sat upstairs and the atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special enough for the 50th birthday we were celebrating. Totally recommend. *****
