   The Tavern was the perfect choice for our mid-week birthday celebration. The additions to the fall menu are delicious with particular favorites: the Spinach & Artichoke Dip and Acorn Squash Skins. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient and we appreciated Chef Alex’s table-side visit. We’ll be back!

   The drinks were delicious. Bartender and waitress were amazing. Very friendly and willing to make it a great dinner. Highly recommend.

   Food was quite good, big step up from the Reef! I had the bolognese which had a unique twist, but I would have preferred rigatoni to spaghetti.

   Our first visit to this restaurant was very positive. Staff friendly, attentive and knowledgeable re the menu. Presentation of food was great especially the S’mores pot a crème dessert. Cappuccino was cold. The manager provided a second cup which was still cold. He decided to take the machine out of service until it could be fixed. We were not charged for it. Lots of different drinks to choose from. There is no draft beer however the bottled beer is quite cold and served in chilled mugs. The changing message board above the kitchen is fun.

   Love the new fall menu! had the spinach and artichoke dip, acorn squash potato skins and doughnut chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious!

   I ordered a unwedge salad with steak. The salad is a head of lettuce and the steak looked like it was thrown on the side of the plate. It was okay but presentation was a turn off. The plate was so small it was impossible to cut the salad without it spilling off the plate and the steak slices looked like an afterthought. Wasn’t impressed; have had better steak enhanced salads other places.
