   I was so excited to go for the first time. The server Rakim was very polite he introduced himself and asked my and friend of any allergies. We explained “NO PORK”, followed by making sure what we ordered had no trace of pork in it. We ordered “the fish of the day.” Which Rakim explained was salmon topped with butternut squash purée. However, we received salmon with a different type of side i can’t explain but it was applewood pork bacon based. Very unacceptable.

   I visited Loch Bar to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and while the food and ambiance were wonderful, the experience left me a bit disappointed. I made the reservation online and mentioned that it was a special occasion. When we arrived, there was some confusion about valet parking. It was freezing outside, and the valet attendant was inside—there really should be a sign to make this clear. Luckily, we found a spot on the street. Once inside, I was greeted promptly by the hostess while my boyfriend parked the car. I asked her to ensure that our waitress acknowledged my boyfriend’s birthday and sang to him, and she assured me it was already noted. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the crab cake, which was perfectly cooked, and for dessert, we shared the caramel apple cheesecake—it was divine. However, when dessert arrived, no one sang or acknowledged my boyfriend’s birthday, even after I had been told they would. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with plenty of attentive staff and managers visible throughout the evening. But the lack of follow-through on such a small yet meaningful gesture was disappointing, especially since it was promised. Overall, the food and service were great, but the missed opportunity to make my boyfriend’s birthday special left a sour note on an otherwise lovely evening.

   We had a lovely evening with our family. We went for restaurant week and the food was impeccable and the drinks were super tasty. The ambience was very aesthetic and everything flowed beautifully. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

   I truly enjoyed my experience at Loch Bar. I wasnt too sure at first because it was kinda loud due to guests watching the Football game at the bar, plus their was a live singer, who I must say was sooo good. He had a great voice, and his choice of songs to sing were on point. The food was delicious. My apps were shrimp cocktail, mussels, and Crab and Artichoke dip, and my entree’ was a outstanding Bronzino. I will definitely be returning.

   Loved the live music. Though maybe it was hard for servers to hear as they took away the oysters before we were done. The crab soup was amazing. The steak for the price should have been cooked evenly. It was mostly rare with 20% medium rare. I know how hard it is to cook steak, but I expect a place at that level to get it even and just right. The seating was tight with very uncomfortable chairs on the outside and I heard this from other patrons as well.

    10/10 experience visiting from DC..great service at the bar and Travis the bartender was top tier! The entire bartender staff was amazing and great personality!
