In January 2020, Little Madrid Tapas Café opened in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood, a small, cozy, and colorful space. The restaurant transported guests back to Old Madrid with its warm atmosphere, delicious flavors, and enticing aromas that emanated from the kitchen. With a global pandemic raging around the world, Little Madrid Tapas Café remained a steady presence in the neighborhood and soon emerged as one of the best Spanish restaurants in Chicago.

First time here on a busy Friday night during restaurant week. Outstanding food and service despite a very busy night. Energetic and fun with a roving server offering a short stream of sangria to anyone interested - the tables got into it.

Food and experience were amazing. All dishes we ordered were exceptional. The Cava was an excellent choice that complemented the dishes fabulously. I highly recommend.

Everything about this restaurant is excellent - from the food to the ambience to the service. Manuel our waiter couldn't have been nicer. He explained everything very well, and even suggested a pintxos serving instead of a tapas size as we had said we weren't very hungry and didn't want to overeat. We live in the neighborhood and couldn't be happier for the success of this restaurant!

The food was delicious and our server Manuel was great. Our young child loved the albondigas. The seafood paella was very good though did not really have much octopus as advertised. The crema catalan was wonderful.
