We visited Lilliput Farm Kitchen on Easter Sunday and were really impressed by the calm, clean atmosphere and the incredibly friendly staff. My partner and friend both said it was one of the best roasts they’ve ever had – high praise! However, my friend and I were a little disappointed with the portion size of our meals. We had the gluten-free and dairy-free options due to dietary needs, and while I was really grateful for how attentive the staff were in ensuring everything was FODMAP-friendly, it did come with some drawbacks. Unfortunately, our meals were missing key elements like the Yorkshire pudding, one of the sides, and the gravy – and yet we were still charged the same as the standard roast. While I completely understand that dietary restrictions aren’t the venue’s responsibility, it would’ve been great if they could have supplemented the plate with a few extra greens or potatoes. As it was, we left feeling a bit hungry, which was disappointing. That said, the desserts were absolutely delicious, and the overall ambience was lovely. I’d definitely be keen to come back and try the full menu on another occasion – and will make more of an effort to raise these kinds of concerns at the time, even if it can feel a bit awkward!

This was our second visit to Lilliput Farm Kitchen and it was just as perfect as the first visit. We booked due to the jazz evening taking place, which was a very welcome addition to the evening and we would happily book again for another jazz evening! The waiters are all super friendly and kind individuals, which just adds to the friendly and laid back atmosphere. There doesn’t appear to be time limits on the tables as we were told to take our time and not rush at the end of the meal which was lovely as we could sip our drinks whilst enjoying the beautiful views. The food and drinks are fantastic. I cannot fault this restaurant and will return time and time again. Icing on the cake is that it is dog friendly!

Delicious food but on the pricey side for the portion size, particularly the dessert. No veggie option on the daily specials which didn't sit well with my friend as only one veggie option on the main menu and she didn't think the description of the dish gave a clear understanding of what it actually was.

Another fabulous Farm to Fork experience, all the dishes were cooked with an expert touch good friendly service and with the backdrop of the setting sun and the most outstanding view of any local restaurant made for another excellent dining experience.

Was expecting wonderful food for a belated Mother's Day treat, but was sadly very disappointed 😞 Staff seemed very unhappy, distracted, and kept forgetting us. It seemed like they were reeling from some kind of incident, or perhaps all of them were new to the job? The beef was excellent, but the potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were not good at all.

Food is just amazing! Hats off to them! Good wine list Very pretty location, decor and atmosphere.. Service - really needs improvement, very long wait for food and drinks or to get the bill. Paper napkins are not acceptable for this type of restaurant level. Will give it a go again soon. :)

Best food we’ve had for years. Quiet, cosy, great staff and able to take our dog for an evening meal. Looking forward to returning to try a Sunday roast and experience the view. A must visit.
