   Love the renovations they have done to this space (used to be Mellow Mushroom) - very open and yet cozy. The food was spot on - I got the smash burger - which I usually find TOO much but this was perfect !!!! OUu server was friendly and accommodating.

   Valentines' day was our first time at Liberty Tavern-Polaris. Our Server was top shelf, this is the server everyone wants on Valentines Day. Food was top shelf, they had a special three course meal that was outstanding, "hats off to the Chef for coming up with excellent choices, the desert was to die for. No issues to report. The noise level was a bit more than we expected, however it was not a deal breaker at all. We will be back.

   Food and cocktails were great. Service was poor. I was a waitress, so I speak from years of experience in a high-traffic restaurant. It was early, on a week night, and the restaurant wasn't busy. It took about 10 minutes for the waitress to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and cocktails. We had to ask her to take our main course order. We also asked for water refills twice, condiments for our sandwiches, boxes to go and the check. She seemed bothered by our requests. Overall, it seemed like she didn't want to be there. There are plenty of other options for great food AND great service.

   While we waited for our table, we sat in a little niche they was cozy and nice. The food and drinks were satisfying and what we expected. The place was really busy and it was loud. Perhaps some sound panels may help. Will go back!

    Our service was slow and sporadic. We were at dinner for almost 2 hours. I understand wanting a relaxed environment, but there were too many lulls in service. Our server was nice but seemed very confused any time we asked a question. It also appeared that the kitchen lost/didn't receive our order ticket for a little while. We took advantage of the Restaurant Week menu offerings. We got the caesar salad, the spinach artichoke dip, the fish and chips, the sirloin steak, the chocolate raspberry mousse cake, and the gooey butter cake. Everything that we got was absolutely delicious. The house made dressing and lemon in the caesar salad was refreshing. The jalapeno in the spinach artichoke dip was a delicious pop of spice. The fish and chips were tasty. My steak was cooked perfectly rare and the chimichurri butter was so good. Both desserts were perfectly indulgent. We will probably return.
