   Had our 8:30pm prepaid Valentine’s Day reservation pushed back to 9pm without option to cancel. 8:30pm was already at/beyond our limit so 9pm was just too late bit no option. Then, when seated our physical table so tiny. Looking around, most tables were normal size, we just got one of three so small it was uncomfortable. The prepaid $320 (for 2) Vday experience stated it included a cocktail or mocktail, but when we ordered the cocktail we were told they were going to charge us for it. $10 each. Food was quite good with exception of my wife’s steak which was initially quite undercooked…. And then came out charred after trying to fix it. Not the worst but felt the bait and switch. Probably won’t return.

   We walked away asking ourselves, "how much did we pay for that?!" I wouln't do a prix fixe - prepay menu with them again. Everyone at our seating arrived at 7:00pm -- Valentine's Day. The advertisements said that a virgin drink or cocktail was included with the menu -- I double checked this. I guess they changed their minds and decided the cocktail was an additional $10 ea at the last minute. They blamed the State of Utah. If they required an additional payment, why not $1? Everyone in the room got their app of empanadas at the same time. They had been sitting out for a while, and there was no sauce. They brought a small portion of some sort of onion salsa to go with them. They were cold and dry. We laughed our way through swallowing them. The shrimp cocktail was yummy, but the sauce was very watered down. Seriously, it looked like a cocktail. I asked for my filet to be medium rare. There was no pink left anywhere in the meat. Isn't this a steakhouse? My husband's lamb was also way over. The cheesecake was yummy. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant and we won't be back. I still can't believe how much we paid for what we got.

   We’ve been here before. The restaurant has good food, the place is a little quirky to me, but in a fun and unintentional way. We visit fine dining restaurants every Friday across the valley. Many are a one off. Some are treasured. Libertango is just a fun and a unique, a little strange (again in Good way) dining experience. Well natured staff, I dig it. We’ll continue to come back. Thanks for a great night out!

   Over priced for what it was. Took 30 minutes to even get a drink. Steak was flavorless, server was nice, but overall you should go somewhere.

   Food was great with great ambience! The only thing that spoiled our experience was the horrible service we received from Carlos, one of the servers. He was rude and with an attitude; when we asked about some different meat cuts; his answers were VERY short and even rolled back his eyes a couple of times. He never checked back after bringing the main entree. His demeanor was like he was annoyed, He may benefit from some couching about the value patrons have, even when the food is as good as it was. The cherry on top of the cake is when he brought the credit card terminal to the table, he stood there, I felt pressured to leave him a tip when quite honestly, he didn’t deserve it. It was a special night for us and we didn’t want to ruin it by telling him the horrible service he was giving. We couldn’t help to notice how nice and attentive other servers were. If you go and you get Carlos, I’d recommend you ask for a different server.

   Went for my son’s Birthday. His steak was ordered medium rare but came out very rare. Girlfriend ordered medium rare and it was brown inside. Other 5 steaks for great.

   This was a return visit to celebrate a birthday. As expected, the fare and service was impeccable. The lamb chops and the El Lomo filet mignon were prepared to perfection. The Papas Provenzal (fries) are great to share and so flavorful. The appetizers are shareable and there’s a great variety. We’ll be back.
