   My clumsy fingers have somehow erased my previous detailed song of praise. Sorry, but I have to be quicker this time. Morgan was our server and we had many questions and discussions - we could not throw her. Everything she recommended after listening to us EXCEEDED expectations. (We stayed so long her break came before dessert so her manager kindly stepped in and recommended a dessert I would normally not have considered - SO good!). We felt lucky to get to sit in a quiet but jolly atmosphere and catch up and laugh. Looking forward to next time!!!

   We have been dining at Lia's for at least 10 years, probably more, and have always been very pleased. Unfortunately, yesterday's experience was fair at best.

   We were celebrating my wife’s birthday. We were greeted with “Happy Birthday (wife’s name) written on a blackboard in the reception area. We had requested a quiet table when we booked and we were thoughtfully accommodated. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a great evening.

   1/11/2025: Update: I’m impressed by how management took responsibility and addressed the concerns. Since my initial review, they’ve promised to improve both the food and service—and I’m looking forward to returning soon! Original review: Overall, the experience was 3 stars. One pizza was undercooked and one pizza was fine, but not hot. The appetizers were good (donut balls and risotto balls) but, also, not served hot... Just luke warm. The other entrees were well received, but not overly so. My wife was meh on her salad. We asked the server his thoughts on the Espresso Martini.... His response "I'm 20.". Honest response but not helpful. Helpful would have been "We make it with XYZ, and while I don't drink alcohol, my guests really enjoy them " The server did not check in on us after the entrees were delivered and he never asked us if we'd like another round of cocktails. Huge missed opportunity. He was nice but young and clueless. I fully blame the lack of training by the restaurant. I've been coming to Lias for years, but everything about this visit was just off. There are better ways to spend your money.

   Very good service and quiet corner table for 5 of us for a birthday celebration. Delicious meals and dessert. Mostly generous servings except for the birthday guy, ravioli was smallest meal. We all gave him bites from our food!
