   My girlfriend and I went in a date here last night and it was incredible, the drinks were amazing and the waiting and bar staff were all happy for a chat and really seemed to love what they do. If I was to say anything negative it was that the live music made it difficult to have a conversation with my girlfriend sat 2 feet away and as such we had to leave before the 2nd group started rather than stay for more drinks. Other than that, we were each given a glass of Prosecco for the occasion of our date which we really appreciated and we will definitely come back soon

   If your looking for views, opulence and fine food. Forget it. Opulence that you would except with the Hilton name and gallery of photos I'm sure they don't belong to this venue. The floor was sticky, tables old the chairs I think they took from my church. The staff just looked irritated by our presence I asked for a proper table as they gave us a coffee table with sofas I have elderly parents and ask for the table 2 rounds put together. The food was AWFUL I picked up a sandwich and water ran out probably left in the fridge uncovered everything except the scones was heavy fake and lack luster. My decaf oatmilk latte had a soapy taste to it. Very disappointing would of complained but parent told me to let it go. I feel they are trying to make money from an area that is used more at night.

   Reserved a table, when we arrived it was full with a private function. Looked round no table reserved that we could find. Function guest kept asking us why we were there and that it was a private function. Couldn't get to bar to ask member of staff, too busy. Think someone could have let us know , as we were celebrating a 21st birthday and it was spoilt. We left

   I've had quite a few high afternoon teas with prosecco etc but I have to admit that this was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. From the delicate finger sandwiches to the amazing selection of cakes, and of course wonderful scones, all washed down with a glass of prosecco and fine English tea. The only thing I would say is that it's a very generous portion with lots of cakes and 3 scones (that's just the single person one!) and definitely value for money!!!

   Booked cocktails in sky bar which were lovely. Afternoon tea down in the restaurant to be told the restaurant closed. Was not offered any hot drinks with the afternoon tea. Bread was also dry. Also made a special request online for daughter’s birthday which was not completed. When question the server said she did not see this.

   Really disappointed to see the changes that have adversely affected the ambiance and vibe. The food should have remained downstairs. The Sky bar should actually be a bar, not a space with funeral piano playing!

   Used to be somewhat classy but has gone down hill. Cocktails were 10/10, best espresso martini I’ve ever had. But live music and clientele weren’t great

   It was for a big birthday pre dinner drink , I just thought it would be a lot more upmarket. Seemed a bit tatty , and the outside area stank of stale gas. Really disappointing!

   Absolutely gutted if I’m honest. I came here a week ago and was impressed by the service and how the food looked. I booked for my 40th birthday yesterday for afternoon tea. Stale bread for the sandwiches, the sweet treats were insanely rich and overwhelming. The balance of sweet and savoury wasn’t balanced. The service wasn’t the same as when we previously visited. It was a treat coming to the Hilton and after the year of ill health I’ve been through I was so looking forward to coming here. A sandwich from Asda is fresher… Absolutely let down if I’m honest and wondering what on earth we paid almost £100 for. The afternoon tea for two was £65 then the two cocktails at £14 each… They couldn’t even get the right glass for a vodka martini.

    Band Ben Brown were incredible, great vibes, great songs. Drinks took quite a long time to get served and be made but were unique.
