   Visiting Solvang for the first time, my family and I went twice to this restaurant! I really enjoyed the two meals I had - Fish of the day (I chose the Halibut), and it came with such yummy potatoes! I also had the Chicken parmesan, the right amount of seasoning and cheese, and it was very soft! Also the (non-alcoholic) cucumber sparkling drink! Oh! And that tiramisu was one of the best ones I've tried so far! The bartender, waiters, host, cooks, busser, and every staff member were so nice! And they even recognized us coming back. I want to come back here to try the pastas! Till next time and thank you for such a wonderful time. Appreciation from a family from Oakland, CA! :)

   We were looking forward to a great experience based on past reviews but we were underwhelmed. Service was extremely slow today as it took over 45 minutes for our entrees to come out. It also took a few requests to finally get some bread and water. They must have been missing staff because the kitchen lacked leadership and the servers seemed overwhelmed (although the one with a Xmas headband was a star). The alfredo was overcooked and the orecchiette was watery. We hope today was just a fluke.

   First, you will need to take cab or drive here from the city center. It’s less than a mile but not walkable due to the road conditions. The restaurant is in a strip mall and the atmosphere suits a strip mall. You can’t miss the flashing “open” sign next to the Rite Aid. We had the Penne Leonardo’s, Pollo alla Piccata, and Penne Pescatore. All was rather bland and served cold (supposed to be hot, btw). Wine was good but that’s hard to get wrong in this area. The restaurant was filled with patrons and they had just one or two servers. Understandably, the service was pretty slow and inattentive. However, being busy doesn’t mean you have to act as if your patrons are an annoyance and irritant to you. Buck up buddy and act like a pro. They do it in Michelin star restaurants and this is NOT a Michelin star restaurant.

   We had a wonderful dinner experience with great pasta dishes. The ambiance was great as we experienced exceptional from soloists singing Christmas and Italian music to the delight of people having dinner that evening.

   Excellent restaurant. The best Italian food I've ever had. Having been in the high-end restaurant business my whole life, I'd give this experience a ten.

    Wine was good so were the appetizers. Food made me sick nearly made it back to hotel. Will not be coming back.
