Located in beautiful downtown Deadwood in the Historic Franklin Hotel is Legends Steakhouse. Legends provides an excellent dining atmosphere. Serving only the best quality food, featuring all hand cut Certified Angus Beef steaks that have been aged for 28 days. Legends also serves a variety of seafood. The shrimp crepes are a must try. You can enjoy great unique appetizers and mouth watering desserts. Legends has a full bar and an outstanding wine list with over 80 wines to choose from. The service at Legends is top notch, all of our servers are friendly and very educated on all of our menu items. Come to dine at Legends and you will not be disappointed.     Server was good but did not have anything special for a birthday which was disappointing for a nicer restaurant. They also could have mentioned the cash only situation before we got seated. Otherwise second time eating here, would recommend if in the area.

    Good ambiance in the lower level of an Old Hotel. All food items were very good - 3 of us got a filet and the 4th a rack of lamb. All cooked to perfection. Cocktails were also right on.

    The prime rib was absolutely amazing, large portion for the price. Perfectly med rare for the large chunk. The Elk Gnocchi was soft and buttery.

    The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy. Unfortunately, we had a very loud party of 9 sitting by my husband and I. We ordered steaks which were tasty + shrimp and lobster. There are also a good selection of sides that come with the meal. VIctoria was very attentive of all we needed and checked on us frequently! We love her sense of humor as well. This is a nice place to have an upscale meal! Pricing is what one would expect for a higher-end steak place. Casual attire was a blessing as we had nothing fancy since we had packed for hiking and to see the national parks. Great place to eat!
