   The food was Okay. The kids salmon came out charred on the bottom and the rice was clearly microwaved from being cooked earlier. The chowder was slightly tangy which is new to me. Almost like they added some sherry. The margaritas my wife and I had tasted like 90 sour mix and we had to send them back. They did comp one. The waiter was nice but was overly familiar and felt more like the 5th member of our table. He almost wouldn’t leave us alone to try and enjoy our meal. I have been to legal seafood a half dozen times on the east coast and it has always been good. Considering they are owned (and are next door) by Smith&Wollinkys I expected more.

   The food was amazing and the service was great! We had the blackened white fish and lobster roll and both were cooked perfectly! I will definitely be back!!

   It was our first time eating at Legal Seafood. We ordered the $1 cup of clam chowder for the annual clam chowder day. We also tried the oysters and ceviche! Service was excellent I will be coming back for their oysters and their martinis!

   The NE clam chowder was outstanding. I then had the fish sandwich which could feed 2 but I don't believe in doggy bags...even in January weather the river side views are great-even better in the summer. Dessert was Boston creme pie-don't hesitate!

   We had a fantastic experience at this Legal Seafoods!! The restaurant is very beautiful, full of light, and had great views of the Chicago river. We had clam chowder to die for, the best crab cakes ever, and a wonderful bowl of peel & eat shrimp!!! Our server, Chris P, was so personable, professional and extremely attentive throughout our meal. Thank you so much, Chris P!!! We will be back many times!!

    Spectacular location overlooking the Chicago River. Exceptional seafood as you would expect from a Boston-based seafood restaurant. The Express Lunch is an exceptional deal.
