I had eaten at Legacy Kitchen Tackle Box a couple of times, so I was nearby this one & decided to give it a try. It was a Monday evening, & the place had few customers. It took a few minutes for the waitress to get to me, but that was OK because she was the only wait staff working. Once she did get to me, she was very engaging & entertaining, with a good knowledge of the menu. I ordered a Honey Old Fashioned, which she brought out in short order. It was really, really good, especially if you like yours on the sweeter side, but it had a certain richness to it that did it for me. I had adequate time to enjoy my drink before food arrived (but not excessive). I didn't see an entree that really grabbed me, so I went with a Firecracker Shrimp Toss (very tasty) & the Seared Tuna salad (also good; the tuna was actually seared, not overcooked). Combined, the two were quite filling. For the quality of the cocktail & food I had, I'd say it was a good value. Appearance-wise, the place has good vibe, so I'm not sure why it wasn't busier (NOLA seemed a little quiet, admittedly). I'd like to see them add a bit to the entrees, & some oysters would be good too, but all in all it was a solid visit & meal.

This is my first time in New Orleans so I expecting more local entries. I will say their beignets were better than Café Du Monde.

Took 8 minutes to acknowledge me at the front desk. I already had reservations and was on time and they didn’t have my table ready. Took 10 minutes for us to even get our drink orders in. Food tasted good

Great food and service! Generous portions too! I chose the NOLA Tot Debis as an appetizer for our party of six and although it may not have been the prettiest dish, it was delicious and easily could have fed a few football players! It was HUGE! Other table selections included the Shrimp PoBoy, flatbreads, burger, and salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The entire menu looked appetizing to me, and from the looks of what came out of the kitchen I know we’ll be back.

Not sure what happened recently because we used to enjoy it, but the hostess was jaw-droppingly rude, no clean cups or silverware so they gave us plastic cups and utensils, minimal attention from the waitress I guess because tip was already included. All this with a half empty restaurant. Never again

The roast beef po boy was mediocre at best. They were understaffed and it took longer than expected. Also, one item never came and we had to get the manager to take it off the bill. I had come for dinner a couple of nights before and should have learned my lesson. My meal was inedible. But I was with clients and didn’t want to make a fuss. Plus I’m all about second chances. Not sure if I will give the a third. Too bad because it’s in a good location and the restaurant itself has a cool look to it.
