Founded in 1995 by Owner, Chris Papageorge, Lefty's Lobster and Chowder House is Dallas' premier New England Seafood Restaurant. Our fish arrives fresh daily and our aged beef is hand-cut in house. Desserts are made on premise. Lefty's is a legend among locals who have been dining here for over twenty-five years.

    I started with the lobster bisque and had the grilled salmon for my main dish. The salmon was cooked perfectly. We’ve been there several times and the food is consistently very good.

    Food was cold tonight & lobster was meh. Bread is not good —- cold & flavorless. Pecan crusted trout was more nuts than fish. Clam chowder was fantastic! I’ve eaten here many times & it was great so clearly an off night.

    The service was nice. The atmosphere is extremely casual. Unfortunately, I found the food just OK. Pricing runs about $21 for entrees. We each had an entree, glass of house wine and a slice of pie. It was a $100 meal, but simply didn't taste or feel like it. Won't be going back.

    I can't remember how many years I have been a patron at Lefty's. Whether it's a Tuna Burger for lunch or the Chilean Sea Bass on New Year's Eve, the food and the service is excellent.
