My husband and I went to this restaurant last night and enjoyed our experience immensely. The food was fabulous and extremely good value for the central London location (down a little back street in Marylebone that you wouldn't know was there!). I had the cheese fondue (one of my favorites!), and my husband had the duck confit, which he declared was one of the best duck confits he's had. There was also an excellent choice of wines. We chose a fairly expensive bottle of red, but it was worth it as it was delicious and complemented the food perfectly. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly, and the place had a nice cozy ambiance and felt very authentically French. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

Good wholesome French bistrot menu. Good selection of wines but corkage is steep.

This was our second visit: the first was in a party of six, for which the accommodation was bright and cheerful. We were so impressed that we returned as a couple a week later. This second visit was in an annexe lit only by candles, which left us in difficulty seeing the menu or each other. The temperature was chilly, too. The food is very good although the egg-based main courses are bland. The service was excellent. The music is mercifully at a very low level, though the annexe because noisy from the chatter of other couples as the evening wore on. We might go again in the summer when there is natural lighting and natural warmth.

Nice location and venue but poor quality food! In our experience, the kitchen lacked true French culinary know-how and not really French cooking..

Lovely atmosphere and great service. We came for the Raclette so I’m unable to comment on the other food quality, but the raclette was wonderful, served properly and hugely satisfying!

By far the best French restaurant in town, real French kir royal, followed by an amazing goat cheese salad and proper beef bourguignon, real French cream brûlée, and magnificent wine list, service was simply the best, very warm welcome.

A very mixed experience and not one I'd want to repeat. The wine was good, and good value, but some of the food was disappointing at best. The quiche was beautifully made, but the steak tartare was a bad choice and we couldn't eat it. The tarte tatin was delicious, but ruined by a smoke alarm going off above the neighbouring table. The staff ignored it completely and eventually the diners climbed onto a chair to turn it off. Very bizarre!! The manager Laurent didn't like my asking why no one had bothered about the alarm going off and was really rude to me. I was pleased to leave. I don't like posting bad reviews as people work really hard in these places. But what could be a cute warm basement wine bar was damp, cold and badly run.

Been going for many years. If you like omelette no better in town. Service warm and friendly. No music. No shouting. Great wines too.
