   I don’t eat meat so the menu is limited. I do eat fish so I order red snapper with tiny vegetables and the side was quinoa. Another fish dish was accompanied with polenta. The vegetarian dish was flavored with a variety of fruits and vegetables but was accompanied with mole sauce. Is this a French restaurant or Mexican? Polenta, quinoa and mole are not usually favorites of the American community. The other time I was there I ordered 2 appetizers. This is a beautiful restaurant. I just wish it stuck to a French menu

   Had a lovely evening at the “new” Le Bistrot. We loved the ambience - low lighting, tropical plants, candles everywhere - truly elegant and enchanting. We shared an onion/cheese tart, followed by duck in a fig sauce (scallops for my husband) and a fabulous tarte tatin dessert. I started with a very well made Lemon Drop while my husband had a passion fruit margarita - all made with excellent fresh ingredients. The food was delicious and reasonably priced in comparison to some of the high end restaurants of PV (and certainly in comparison to the US). There is an extensive wine list. Overall a very nice addition to the PV dining scene.

   The most beautiful restaurant in Puerto Vallarta (Centro). Open air with an inviting bar as you walk in. Decorated beautifully. A plus for the evening -live jazz music.

   All the food was under flavored. The Cornish hen tasted like it was boiled.

   Le Bistro has it all--exceptionally charming ambiance, delicious food, fabulous staff, and philanthropic owners who recently hosted a fundraiser for the children of Corazon de Nina. We give Le Bistro our highest recommendation and look forward to returning soon to experience the joys again.    The recorded music was at a much better level this time and the live jazz band was great … along with the incredible ambience, food & service

   The ambiance is a 10. Gorgeous restaurant and setting. The service was very good but the food and price a major disappointment. We had three appetizers and two main dishes. The scallops were undercooked and the risotto had no flavor and very starchy The shrimp quesadilla and mango and crab salad were sub par. This is one of the most expensive restaurants in Puerto Vallarta and definitely not worth the price. They have a live jazz band on the weekends and they were great. Next time we will sit in the bar area and enjoy the music and a drink. I hope they stay in business but major adjustments in the food and price will have to be made.

    A jewel among the upscale restaurants in PV. The only one with French cuisine with reasonable prices ( according to US standards). However the best reason to visit is the amazing decor. Live piano music began about 8. Recorded music played before that and twice we asked it be turned down. This is certainly one place to visit while in PV
