   This is not my first visit to Lawson's bistro and once again a great experience. The staff were friendly but professionally. I had requested a quiet table with personal space for an intimate lunch and this was provided. I had previously dined in the evening but this was my first time eating lunch at the restaurant and was not disappointed. There was plenty of choice on the lunchtime menu and the quality and taste of our food was exceptional. At £18 for 2 courses extremely good value. Definitely would recommend a visit for anyone who hasn't been before. I will most certainly be making a return visit next time I am in Lincoln, it's my go to restaurant.

   We were a party of 4, 3 adults and a child and we all thought the food was fantastic, staff helpful and friendly and a lovely atmosphere definitely worth a visit

   First time here, celebrating our golden wedding anniversary. Lovely meal in Lovely surroundings. Food was excellent, tarragon chicken melted in the mouth, blade of beef was beautiful . Will definitely recommend & return 👌

   I ordered the 10oz rib eye steak priced at £34. It was awful, I couldn’t eat it. Looked like an average steak from the supermarket, I asked for it to be cooked medium rare it wasn’t. It was tough. The steak in colour was grey. The actual servers were not interested and just had no atmosphere in the place. We didn’t pay for the steak as we refused to. We left hungry and very disappointed. Bang a strange food overpriced. Won’t be returning

    Visited for my wife's birthday on a Saturday evening. Service and food was very good. The restaurant is lovely, though we were sat downstairs which was very quiet so lacking atmosphere, but overall a very nice evening. I would recommend.
