   I recently dined at Las Dos Fridas in San Juan, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. We arrived at 7:30 PM, and from the start, the service was extremely slow. After ordering our appetizers, we waited about 30 minutes, and then when we ordered our main dishes, it took almost two hours for them to arrive. When we inquired about the delay, the staff informed us that they had mistakenly skipped our ticket, but no one came to explain or apologize for the oversight. By the time the food arrived, my steak was overcooked, which was disappointing. After we complained, the so-called “manager” mentioned they would compensate us with the first round of drinks and desserts. However, when it was time to settle the bill, the drinks were not removed, and the dessert we wanted was unavailable. We asked the server to correct the bill, but it took another 20 minutes for him to return. When we followed up, we were told the manager had left and no one was available to handle it. Eventually, they managed to get the manager back to our table. When we expressed our frustration about the long wait and poor service, her response was simply, “me too.” This lack of empathy made the situation even more frustrating. Overall, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve ever had. I do not recommend Las Dos Fridas if you value good service and a pleasant dining atmosphere.

   Dear Yulie, We’re surprised and saddened by your review, as we strive for quality service. However, let’s clarify a few points. Your reservation was at 7:30 p.m., yet you arrived late. Despite that, we welcomed you warmly. Our dining experience is meant to be relaxed, not rushed like fast food. Regarding your steak, it was prepared to the requested standard, though perception can be subjective. More concerning was your companion yelling at our staff, making even your guests uncomfortable. As a courtesy, some charges were removed, though expectations seemed to go beyond that. We regret not meeting your standards and wish you the best in future dining experiences.    Service was amazing, but food took 1hr 30min to arrive. The place wasnt full and our steaks were ordered to medium, which dont take long to cook. The food is not worth the value in my opinion. The plating could use some work, you just get the steak slapped on the plate, no sauce or presentation. Ordered a side of carbonara pasta also, that was truly the highlight of the night

   It was an amazing experience. Our server was extremely polite and professional. The ambiance was perfect. They had a personal playing a violin with beautiful music. Good was exquisite, from the entries to the main course. We will definitely be back.

   Liana was delightful. She knew the menu well and was able to assist in picking the best selections for dinner. I highly recommend LasDos Fridas and Liann for your next dinner experience. You will not be disappointed! 5 ⭐️ service and quality food

   Waited 1 hour and 35min for our food and the ribeye that I order was burnt on the outside. Could have returned the plate but didn’t cause I didn’t want to spend more time in there. The waiter told us the food was taking long because they were waiting for the ingredients to arrive… she should have told us that before :/.

Sin embargo, nos sorprende su observación sobre el término de su ribeye, ya que en Las Dos Fridas Steakhouse ningún corte sale de la cocina sin una inspección rigurosa. Nuestros expertos saben diferenciar entre un buen sellado y algo realmente quemado. Además, si realmente estuviera quemado, no se lo habría comido, ¿verdad? Entendemos la espera, pero en horas pico, especialmente en un fin de semana tan concurrido como San Valentín, es normal que el servicio tome más tiempo.     Un lugar verdaderamente romántico y acogedor para disfrutar con tu pareja. La comida es excepcional, y quedamos completamente cautivados por la música suave que ambienta el espacio. La magia que se crea con las proyecciones sobre las mesas añade un toque único y encantador. Sin duda, un lugar al que quisiéramos regresar una y otra vez.
