The ambiance is beautiful and cozy but the food overall was terrible. My arugula salad was drowned in dressing. Filets were overcooked when we ordered medium and had a boiled taste to them. Appetizers were just ok. My miso was dry, not enough sauce. Not worth what we paid. Won’t be returning.

My boyfriend and I had the most amazing first time at Larsen’s, celebrating his birthday. Although the plaza where Larsen’s Encino is located is undergoing remodeling, once you step into the restaurant, you’re completely transformed to another place. Great dim lighting, live piano, and classic steakhouse look. Rita, the hostess, was absolutely amazing. Grant, our server, took it to the next level with his great service. Alongside already amazing food, this wonderful restaurant captivated us into making sure we come back for more.

Logan is fabulous. Personable, attentive and knowledgeable. Our food was prepared to perfection. We were a group of four sharing a large steak and all of our requests were met: rare, medium rare and medium well. Yum. The charcuterie plate was also excellent with lots of different cheeses and meats and fruits. Beautifully served. And of course dessert, the delicious butter cake A fabulous and fun dining experience.

Went there for my birthday celebration. The service was excellent and so was the food. Loved the ribeye and herb crusted chicken. Definitely would recommend this place.

Food was very mediocre especially for the price. We didn’t even want to take leftovers home. I mean why wouldn’t you salt a steak?

Nice layout and ambience. Hostess was slow and confused, took ten minutes to come to the empty front desk on a slow Monday night, then told my guest I hadn’t checked in and sat him at a different table while I sat there waiting for him at another table. His glass of water had something floating in it… Food was good but so expensive and steak was undercooked on both our orders. Service all around not worth the high premium. Who was overseeing and running this evening?? Lacking.
