   This was my second time at lala, and everything, from the food quality to the service and ambiance, blew us away. Alberto was our server, and he was fantastic. I came here with my family on a Monday, so the noise level was moderate and didn't impede our conversations, but it can be energetic at times when the restaurant is busier or maybe on weekends when the vibe is more festive. My family and I agree that this is one of our new favorite restaurants on the island. We will definitely be back at the next opportunity!

   After being seated we were waiting quite a while for our waiter or anyone to show up. Food was pretty good but pricey.

   Lala is has a unique ambiance. Some highlights: a.) Chuck, the bartender crafts innovative and delicious cocktails that perfectly complement the food. b.) the appetizers were outstanding. The beet nigiri was a delightful surprise, and the oysters were flavorful and cooked different ways. c.) Having dined at Osteria Mozza, I can confidently say that Lala's burrata is right up there with the best I've ever had. For our main course, we opted for the Japanese-style branzino. The char was perfect, adding a smoky depth without overpowering the delicate flavor of the fish. The texture was incredible practically melted in my mouth. While the food was exceptional, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, be prepared for a hefty bill. Lala is definitely on the pricier side. We were particularly surprised by the cost of an off-menu truffle pasta, which, while good, wasn't worth the price tag. Definitely, inquire about pricing first. Secondly, while our server was efficient, the service wasn't particularly memorable. As the night progressed, the music did get louder, but it remained at a comfortable level and didn't detract from our conversation.

   They were busy so there was about 30 min wait to be seated despite having reservations. The staff did explain and apologize. The appetizers were amazing better than the main course. The branzino fish was amazing. The pasta was good. However the rib eye was not cooked as ordered (well done). Some parts were too well done and some were medium well to almost rare. Unfortunately There was a long wait for our main courses, therefore I decided to eat instead of sending the food back. Granted that was my choice. The drinks were good and freshly made natural juices amazing. The waiters were outstanding. In my honest opinion the menu is overpriced for the quality of food we were served. I am lucky enough to have access to outstanding steak house restaurants so I am privy to that experience and even though I was hopeful this was not it.

   Service was excellent. Duck breast was good on flavor, but the kitchen missed the temperature. It was a medium well instead of medium rare-medium
