   It’s better than when we were here in April. Still a bit awkward/strange that most of the tables overlook the swimming pool. Doesn’t lend to a nice dinner ambience.

   The ambiance and music were lovely. My husband had a steak and I had Huli Huli chicken and we both thought the meat itself was very good. The menu was not very clear about what things were/descriptions and our waiter l, while very friendly, did not speak English very well. I asked him a few questions and he could not answer. I think another problem was that he was not trained/hadn’t tried the dishes, we could not get any clear understandable answers. My husband asked if the steak came with a side, our waiter said yes, and then we were charged for the side. That wouldn’t be so bad except the sides were not good. At all. And I love Asian food, my stepmom is Asian, I eat a ton of it. If I had made it at home I would have thrown it out and we would have gone out for dinner. I would not eat here again, but the spot is so pretty, I would suggest coming for a drink.

   Server was either overworked or had a bad memory. Slow service. Food came out cold the first time. Usually our go to for dinner. Might not go back. Happy hour with sunset good. Live music a plus as was Music on the Green under Banyan tree.

   Food was excellent. Small dinner menu has something for everyone and it’s preparation was delicious. Ono and Mahi were great. Beet salad was delicious Service was great. They took ok us early, they didn’t rush us.

   Showed up for our reservation and was told I didn't have one. Have gotten confirmation emails and show them you're coming emails....and she then had to put all my details in a computer but for what reason? the restaurant was nearly empty so why take my details...seemed pointless. The menu for lunch was very limited, but the food was ok. I had the chicken sandwich which had very little cabbage and no pineapple flavor, and my husband had the burger which turned out to be a double patty burger. Probably would have had the fish sandwich if he had known. Location is great...nice views. I know it is fairly new, but still very empty for a new place on Maui. Bottle of wine was excessive compared to restaurants at Whalers.

    We arranged for dinner over sunset which was beautiful. The setting is spectacular. Our server Mike was wonderful. After spending most of our day in flight we just had meal entrees which were delicious. We will definitely return to try other menu items while enjoying magnificent ambience which includes peaceful live music. Aloha.
