Ladurée is a world-renowned French luxury patisserie, founded in Paris in 1862. The acclaimed house rose into fame with their exquisite selection of viennoiseries and pastries – most notably, however, for their creation of the macaron.

Described as a biscuit with a delicate and crisp shell with a smooth ganache or jam filling, they come in a variety of classical and creative flavours. Ladurée’s macarons are often not mixed with more than two or three flavours to give each macaron a more pronounced taste.

Accompanying the Boutique, their traditional Parisian tea room offers irresistible culinary delights in a setting inspired by historic France, allowing Ladurée to extend their unique experience of the French art of living.

By far the worst service and experience we’ve ever had in Vancouver. Don’t recommend dinning in. We came here to celebrate my birthday. As soon as they brought out the afternoon tea set there was an insect stuck to one of the items. It was beyond disgusting. They said “they made another” and brought it again. The pastries were hard as rocks and just stale. 0 food quality or taste. We had to ask for literally everything from our server: sharing plates, water, napkins, ordering a second cocktail . No mention or any gesture for my birthday. 0 customer service or experience whatsoever. Every place I’ve been does sometimes special for your birthday. Highly disappointed because I’ve loved Laduree for so many years but this last experience was the absolute worst.

Highly recommend. Sweet and savoury food choices were all excellent (salmon croissant, salmon and advocado toast, and French toast), the hot chocolate with chantille cream was to die for! Lovely environment and servers were friendly and welcoming. Will be back for another lovely experience!

The service was so terrible it seemed intentional. We were ignored for most of the one and a half hour we were there. I kept having to get up and go remind the two service people that we existed. It took 50 minutes to get the tea I ordered. They were rude and miserable. The prices are exorbitant and I knew that going in as we have dined there over a dozen times but at those prices one would expect at least an adequate level of service. It seemed that these two employees almost revelled in being terrible. I’m not sure what’s going on there but every visit the service goes more downhill.

There was a miscommunication where I was positive I'd booked just a regular table for reservation, but our host was sure I'd booked for an Afternoon Tea. It felt like maybe she was a bit upset with us for not picking the afternoon tea? She didn't come back and check on us of her own volition, but my mom and I were having a pretty intense conversation so maybe she was giving us space, which I would appreciate, but my mom had to ask for her to refill our tea pots with hot water and she only filled up my mom's tea pot, despite mine being open as well and right next to hers. We've had fantastic experiences in the past and will certainly be returning in the future.

I brought my 2 granddaughters for a special outing to this cute little pastry shop/restaurant. The staff treated us very well and were attentive. Many of the items on the menu were for a more sophisticated palate than a 3 and 6 year old have, so they directed me to the more appropriate treats for them. They loved the tea service and fancy pastries and took their time choosing the just the right macaron to take away. It was a memorable teatime. Would be even more fun if I was with an adult and could enjoy more of the options. This place is special.

Dined for the first time on a Friday as I have been trying to get a reservation when I go to Vancouver so I was excited. While the food for brunch was outstanding, I think I would have to try the afternoon tea to truly feel the experience. None from the other table/ diners did the same thing and it wasn’t busy as it is at the time. The servers were nice and even let us use the restroom when we had to while shopping next door. We’ll be back for afternoon tea next time! This would be a good place to dine with your girlfriends. The hot chocolate and mocktails were good.

I would expect nothing but great having experienced service in their Paris location. Fantastic offering at a more than reasonable cost. Would highly recommend this experience!
