La Villetta, “cottage” in Italian, is housed in a former carriage house whose building dates back to 1910. This unique space features tones of emerald green, colorful blue, red and yellow stoneware and exposed brick walls giving it both an intimate and rustic feel. The emerald green and dusk blue are reminiscent of the stunning seas and coastline of Puglia, Italy. The region of Puglia is known for its legendary yet simplistic cuisine and boasts some of the best Mediterranean fare

Luigi-ie showed us to a great table. Adriana took care of us all evening. We had a wonderful dinner. Door, wine, atmosphere were all great. This is a great neighborhood restaurant. We’ll be back very soon.

The service is beyond compare. The food is deelish! Wonderful wine selection. So lucky to have this in my neighborhood. Go…you won’t be disappointed. The mango mousse is to die for!!

Attentive, courteous service. No rushing. Restaurant was full and tables close together but still quiet enough to carry on conversations. Food among the best in the neighborhood.

Lovely experience at La Villetta. We wanted something authentic “off the beaten path” from weekend/holiday crowds, and it was perfect. Perfect cozy ambiance, delicious food and wine!

Our dinner last evening at La Villetta was excellent in every way. Food, service, wine selection and ambience were all excellent. Jose’, our friendly and professional server, helped to make it a great experience. The next time we’re in Midtown East in Manhattan, we look very forward to our next visit.
