We were seated outside of the usual Pizza & Pasta dining area, which was fine. They were kind enough to take us early (4:30 for a 5:30 reservation on a Friday night (for some bizarre reason there was no traffic heading into Boston on a Friday afternoon!)) if we would sit there rather than in the main dining area. We were seated at a hightop overlooking an entrance / escalator into the Prudential Center. It was VERY cold out, so the Pru had the heaters at the entrance CRANKED UP. Since heat rises, the area was VERY warm. Obv Eataly can't control this. We waited about five minutes after we were seated to be offered water. The server brought us (table of 4) a half-filled bottle of tap water (we had the option of tap vs sparkling) for the table. We ordered an appetizer (bread w dip) which was tasty at the same time we ordered our meals. We quickly polished off the half-bottle of water with our app. Our meals arrived after we finished our appetizer. Our server had not returned, so we asked the runner who brought our food out if we could get more water - this was about 20 minutes after we had ordered. Our server returned with our new bottle of water and asked how our meals were, but we had JUST received our food. Everyone at the table had pasta dishes - I had the fettuccine that they put into the wheel of parm and serve. Since we were seated outside of the main dining area, I didn't get the tableside performance of watching them put my pasta into the wheel of cheese - which was fine bc I had had it before (they told me I would not get the performance where we were seated when I ordered). All of the pasta dishes were lukewarm when they were served. Note: my cheese was thicker the last time I had the same dish. The server returned when we had finished to ask if we wanted dessert. I have eaten there several times in the past and always had excellent meals. Something was just off last night... For the price I expected the usual Eataly quality/service.

Siamo arrivate dieci minuti prima abbiamo chiesto comunque di poterci accomodare ma non è stato possibile quando c’erano molti posti liberi, ho ordinato una birra che mi è stata servita quasi a pizza terminata… la qualità del cibo ottima!

Great service! Good wine pours too. The pizza’s came out ten minutes before the pasta dishes and everything was tepid in temperature, not hot at all. However, the flavors were quite delicious. A bit loud, but that’s to be expected in the environment for which it is, -it adds to the positive energy. We would go back again with specific requests to ensure timely and hot food.

Not Eataly’s fault but the fire alarm went off and kept going for quite a while. Other than that, it was really delicious but very busy. Glad we had a reservation!

Excellent food and service… was a bit slow but given it was 12:30pm and the holiday season, it was expected. They even gave us a round of complementary drinks due to the slow kitchen. We will visit again!

Exciting place to eat lunch. Lots of activity and good for people watching. Food is excellent and service is good. Busy place so you need to make reservations.

Never disappoints. Valentina was incredible. Fun, friendly and professional. Food was delicious. Pizza outrageously tasty, salads simple but so flavorful. You cannot go wrong here. Antipasto fabulous and cocktails always expertly done. So fun and festive.
