   La Nouvelle Bistro is a hidden gem in the heart of St. Augustine, Florida. We first found the spot when we stayed in a nearby BnB and it was a block away. After that first experience it became our main reason for coming back to St. Augustine. The food is divine. I cannot recommend the baguettes highly enough as a starter. The imported butter pairs beautifully with the handmade bread and crisp slices of radish. As an entree, thus far, my favorite is the steak au poivre. It was cooked to perfection. The cognac peppercorn sauce and potatoes a sublime complement. The service is also superb. One could not expect to find a better trained and more knowledgeable staff at any level. They complement the ambiance of the venue excellently. I continue to recommend La Nou to everyone that will listen. If you find yourself in St. Augustine, FL make sure to find your way into Lincolnville and look for the big house on Bridge Street where you will find La Nouvelle Bistro.    Dinner for our Anniversary. The entire dining experience was fabulous. Our waitress Margaret was great and the food was outstanding. It’s a beautiful place with nice outdoor seating as well.

   The restaurant is in a beautiful Victorian home. The onion soup was excellent along with the Bibb salad. The duck was cooked perfectly. The profiteroles light and crunchy. The wine list is fantastic, organized by regions, with something in every price point.

   Fancy but we managed to fit in. Great service from Josh. Duck confit and bronzino were perfect but the desserts L'Orange and profiteroles were fantastic. Baguets were also perfect.

   We had a wonderful dinner here. Our table was on the porch side facing MLK which was the only real noise. Highly recommend and if we went again we would ask for the patio garden seating, weather permitting.

    Beautiful old house in town! Service was excellent. If you want a truly exceptional experience with French cuisine this is the place. Everything was fabulous!
