With a dazzling dining gallery featuring 40’ glass ceilings, this one-of-a-kind brasserie is built in the tradition of the Belle Époque, inspired by elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style. The menu features French classics and timeless bistro favorites, with a focus on prime cuts and an in-house meat program. In addition to an extensive wine list and classic cocktails, La Grande Boucherie also features an inspired menu of absinthe-driven signature drinks.

Very pleased with our service tonight. We originally had a 5:45p outside reservation but were accommodated at 4:40p inside which was preferred. The wait staff were punctual and polite and the food was excellent as we come to expect. A++++

Great place with fantastic food (esp the French onion soup) and the service was simply outstanding. Was a bit surprised that the did not have a small seafood fork for the oysters but they were delicious

Absolutely perfect French fare. We had the chicken and the onion soup and they were both perfect. Take you back to Paris.

They need a coat check for the winter and the heat was turned on way too high. The tables are packed in there and it's so cute but lugging our winter gear into the dining room then trying to find a place to put it, waiters stepping on our coats was not idea. I think they were short staffed because a manager was serving us so of course, the service was not great as he had other duties to attend to. Our waters went empty a few times which fine, but in general it was a bit hectic. We have been here many times, I think this was just an off night.

Excellent array of French classics… oysters were fantastic (and shucked well!), profiteroles were the bomb. It’s noisier than a French brasserie

This was our first visit and likely to be our last. We had a very mixed experience. We arrived to a chaotic and crowded entry because there was a long line at the check in stand that blocked the only door to enter/exit the restaurant. Everyone had to cross through the line. It was a 10 minute wait just to check in for our reservation, but once we were checked in, the wait to get seated wasn't too long, but it was still noisy and chaotic because the line is right by the busy bar. The hostess seated us at a nice quiet table in the mezzanine area which was also nicely warm for our Florida friends. The service was attentive and helpful throughout the night. My wife and I shared the lobster bisque and onion soup which were both very good in my estimation though my wife didn't like the lobster bisque. We then shared the duck confit which was awful--tough, dry, and surprisingly flavorless and the beef bourguignon which was good. I had the Comme Un Paris Brest for dessert which was original and enjoyable though the sauce anglaise was too thick and dense; still an enjoyable dessert though. We didn't say anything about the duck because we were there with friends so the restaurant didn't have an opportunity to address the issue during the meal. So, very mixed in that the arrival and wait for the stand was slow and chaotic, but the table was nice and the service was good. Most of the food was good, but the duck was really bad.

Taking a friend’s family to dine in NYC, they are international tourists in town for a visit. They love the ambience and food.
