For Valentine’s Day, we are offering a special prix-fixe menu at $95 per person. You can see the menu in the appropriate section.

We welcome our guests to an authentic Italian restaurant: here we offer traditional cuisine, with a modern take on northern and southern Italian recipes. Mauro, the chef, and his wife Tina, have an huge amount of experience behind them.
Mauro is from Naples, Tina was born in a little sicilian town near by Enna.
He began to learn everything about the southern cuisine by his experience in Naples since he was a child, from “Polipetti alla Luciana” to “Paccheri ai frutti di mare”. Furthermore he moved in Milan and he had the chance to learn the northern cuisine, from “Risotto ai funghi porcini” to “Polenta grigliata”, one of his favourite specialties!
From an ancient sicilian tradition, Tina learnt everything about the desserts by her grandmother and her mother, from “Millefoglie” to “Cannoli cake”.

By far, one of the warmest and friendliest restaurants we’ve ever been to. Tina, who owns the restaurant with her husband works in the restaurant itself. Her husband is the chef. Her son also helps. The night we were there Tina‘s granddaughter was sitting at a table doing her homework. The food is extremely fresh and delicious.

Small restaurant that is huge on customer service and outstanding food. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Homemade pasta brought us right back to Italy... absolutely authentic.

I love the ambience at La Dolce Vita...very Italian and intimate. A good date night destination. And the staff are very friendly and inviting. If you go once, you will definitely want to go often. When I went, there was a singer who did very well and wasn't overly loud or intrusive. It's obvious there are a lot of regulars who were greeted by name and hugs. This is a very warm and friendly place with great food!

We had a wonderful experience at this little gem. Staff and owner went above and beyond to make sure I had a delicious gluten free-free meal. Mona was a wonderful server. So very kind. We all loved our meals, drinks, dessert and caprese salad. Thank you!

Best authentic Italian in all of Sarasota. Their fresh pasta dishes are same quality as you would get in Italy itself!

We had Christmas Eve dinner here. What a wonderful Feast of Seven Fishes! The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. The kicker was the singer, who really made the night for us with her combination of Christmas songs and old classics!
