   Went for Mother's Day yesterday. Ordered three different items on the menu, and they said that they were out of these items. The food that we had was good. The placement of the table next to us was rather close...needed more space between guests. Service and atmosphere were great.

   Our Mother's Day dinner was very enjoyable and the food was delicious! Our server Eufi (sp) was attentive,pleasant and friendly.

   We did not experience the regular menu as we went for Mother’s Day Brunch. The buffet food provided was not exceptional. It provided a good selection but we’ve had comparable for half the price. The standout was the pastry selection and quality of them. The only cook to order item were crepes. Our biggest surprise and disappointment was the noise level. Very poor acoustics. Finally, we really object to the 3% service charge added to the bill for “back staff’’. Not announced ahead of time, just appears on the check. Back staff should be paid appropriately and if that means prices are higher so be it. This is a hidden way of raising the price of the menu but not announcing it. Very deceptive practice.

   Attended the $75 pp Mother’s Day buffet. The food was tasty except the wet, mushy eggs. The prime rib was dry, but the french toast, potatoes & a couple mimi cakes were wonderful. The price was too high for the amount most women could eat & considering you’re not getting a fresh hot plate of food. It shouldn’t be more than $50 pp max. Don’t think I’d go again due to price & it’s not an enjoyable dining experience with our family getting up & down at various times to get food from buffet. I do like the restaurant & the servers were quite attentive.

   We went for the Mothers Day Brunch and it was my moms first time dining at La Belle - Everything was great from the delicious food spread to the service. My son and mom both agreed the food was fabulous. Bananas foster French toast was top tier!!! Mimosas were amazing!Thank you for such a great Mother Day!

   The brunch buffet and service was phenomenal you can really tell they put a lot of intentional thought in the experience and it truly made my mom’s Mother Day so special! She said I nailed it with my choice so thank you for nailing it La Belle Helene! The gift card was an amazing touch at the end so it’s safe to say I WILL BE BACK! :)

   Even though it was Mother’s Day, we were seated immediately upon arrival, at our reservation time. We were lucky to have Emma as our server — attentive and pleasant without being intrusive. The brunch buffet was kept well stocked and included a raw bar with oysters and shrimp, a variety of baked goods including mini croissants, pain au chocolate, cinnamon rolls. Smoked salmon with capers/onions/creme fraiche/chopped egg could be enjoyed on English muffin or toasted bagels. Available by order were either berry or Nutella crepes. Tasty but not over the top. Carved beef roast was tender and flavorful, rotisserie chicken nicely moist. Several small dessert bites were available including a variety of macaron, brownies and some cakes. Brunch also included either a mimosa or Bloody Mary. For a busy day, the pacing didn’t feel rushed or frenetic, although our table accidentally got cleared and turned over while we were at the buffet. Emma immediately replaced silverware, coffee/tea, mimosas and apologized profusely. Was it a bit spendy? Yes. Was it worth the splurge? Also yes. Overall, an enjoyable brunch experience on a special day.

   The food and service were excellent. Spirits selection could use a boost. Also, the brown paper on the tables felt out of place. 2 minor negatives that wouldn’t stop me from coming back.

    Food was fantastic, really enjoyed it, and pricing was reasonable. A great choice when attending the Knight Theatre or Mint Museum. Restaurant was very loud though, needs sound deadening of some type.
