We had reservations. They sat the 2 of us immediately at our time. We were offered menus, and ordered appetizers, salad, some sushi. Waiter never came back to see if we wanted anything else. Sat there for about 45 min. No one asked “how is everything?” Or “would you like anything else?” I had to grab someone walking by to get us a check and a box. Dunno if they were short staffed, but a place that charges an automatic 20% service charge and top-dollar prices should pay better attention to what’s going on in the dining room. I thought the menu and food were very good to excellent. Service was lacking though.

Sitting at the sushi bar and being able to interact with the chefs made the experience one of a kind. The freshest selection in Denver. The winter yellowtail is a must.

There was a private party that spilled into the dining room and several of the guests stood right next to our table engaging in very loud conversations. I’m all about having fun at a party but I wasn’t a guest of the party and was not expecting this type of experience. We couldn’t hear the waitress due to the noise and could barely hear each other. The staff did nothing to address the party and our own dining experience. I’ve been to this restaurant before and had a wonderful experience but unfortunately last night was the exact opposite. If you go, I highly recommend requesting to be sat in the front section of the restaurant.

Way too overpriced and not worth the hype. Most dishes were small for the price and were unseasoned, bland, and dry. The quality of the fish was decent but everything else was incredibly disappointing.

They have quickly risen to become the best sushi in town. Not only in terms of quality and service, but there is more value here than in other high-end sushi restaurants in Denver. This is THE PLACE for sushi in Denver.

Greatly presented and refreshing delicious personalized touch to Japanese fusion. agedashi tofu and nasu exceeded expectations! The flavors came together in the sea bream sashimi concoction. 🍣 was wholesome and reasonably priced. Overall great fun experience with nice dry sake, great interactions with sushi chef Cory and 💯 service all around. Will be back! perfect antidote to great 🥶 ⛷️ !!
