   The food was great for a pretty crowded night. The dress code was not enforced. Wear layers, the back area we were seated in was extremely warm.

   Food was very delicious seasoned super well! Everything we ordered was so good. We got the oxtails and grits and the surf and turf. It was all so delicious.

   The chicken and waffles were great! Cooked to perfection and flavorful. The strawberry jalapeño margarita was good as well. The brunch menu, it was hard to chose what to order it all sounded delicious.

   Stopped in for brunch on Saturday. The food exceeded my expectations! I had the surf and turf, which consisted of 3 lamb chops and a lobster tail- They were perfectly seasoned and not overly dependent upon salt. We also had the catfish and grits- How did they make the catfish retain its crispiness while sitting on top of grits is beyond me. I am not one for fruity cocktails, but I was told that I should try to blackberry margarita. I can’t say enough about it. Ms Tay was our server and she was very attentive. The manager Dwyane, is working hard to ensure Kitchen and Kocktails can compete as an excellent source for fresh soul food in Chicago. Kudos to the Chef and his Sous Chef (he is training her to take his place and I believe she will do just fine.)

   10000/10 experience for real. My entire birthday experience was phenomenal. There was a bit of a wait but its well worth the wait. They were packed for a reason! The ambience was stunning, the atmosphere was fun, the food was sooo bomb. Our server was a sweet heart she was very attentive and so were other staff members. I cannot wait to come back!!!!!

   Great good, great service…special shout out to Mo! She provided great service! Superb server! Would highly recommend especially for a group outing. Music is very good but loud so very high energy. Not good for an intimate, conversation filled dinner, lol.

   The experience was overall good. The ambience was great with a nice vibe. The drinks were delicious and a bit pricey yet it’s to be expected for downtown Chicago. Wonderful food choices though I felt the food was salty which is the only reason why I rated my experience at a 4. I would encourage you to support the venue as the staff made us feel welcomed and attended to us well.

    Very poor/slow service, was charged $13 for water (yes,tap) and $31 for a salad that was shown as $25 on the menu. Disappointed, but Beyoncé’s “Honey Bee” drink was great and the “Trinity Eggroll” was delicious!
