Kitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley Atlanta will be located at 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd NE Suite 3030, Perimeter Mall Dunwoody, GA 30346-1518. The location is 6,357 square feet and seats over 175 people. The restaurant will feature a full service bar and one private dining area, the Asset Lounge. Owner, Kevin Kelley’s dedicated team is ready to present Atlanta’s robust community with a new, high-level style of Southern comfort dining.

    I know the restaurant just opened so I went in with low expectations but the food and drinks took very long to come out and it was a Tuesday not very busy. My soup was salty and my entree came out in a take out box after waiting an hour and a half. They plated and nuked it so the inside was still cold and because I was there for a birthday I didn’t make a big deal of it. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful but unfortunately it was a subpar experience. The food and drinks are very over priced for 3 ppl we paid close to $500 and that is for 1 app 1 entree and 2 drinks per person. I would not return based off of my experience.

    Under delivers overall at its price point and hype. Reservations were made for a birthday. There was no mention or birthday celebration as done in other restaurants. Hosts were professional and got us seated within a few minutes of arrival. That’s where problems started to begin. Wait time is entirely too long with too few check-ins. We didn’t have main course until about an hour and ten minutes into our reservation. Pricing is not listed outside restaurant. Dress code is not evenly enforced. The way the restaurant is laid out, you will feel every cold draft when the front door is opened in front half of restaurant. For 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 side and 3 drinks plus automatic 20% tip(And if this is the case, servers should adhere to a level of service; let customer know about wait times, check in on us if you know we’ve been waiting a while), we were around $260. The owner is allowed to charge whatever he deems his product is worth. I will not ask them to be lowered. I will however ask that the service, food portions, and presentation rise to meet that price. I will return to support in about 6 months to see if progress has been made as they’ve just opened here. But as of now I’m underwhelmed.

    This restaurant had nice decorum, but not enough staff for it to be during a weekday(Tuesday)! Took my partner for his birthday he liked his meal but where we were seated by the door we couldn’t get comfortable. However we are open to revisit at another day and time being that we are complete foodies!!!!!

    First time, maybe the last. Not sure why the food and drinks are so expensive. A la carte sides for $11 each. White rice shouldn’t be $11. Strawberry lemonade shouldn’t be $11. The price point didn’t match the food. I don’t mind paying high price if it’s worth it. A cocktail costing more than $20 is a bit extreme in my opinion.

    I have eaten at the Kitchen + Kocktails in Dallas so I was very excited to try the Atlanta location. My family and I were not disappointed. The food, staff, and atmosphere were great!! We will definitely be back.

    Certain items we had was okay. We enjoyed the fish and grits, salmon bits and black eyed peas. However, the prices are overpriced. Same food you can get any place in Atlanta, nothing fancy. Everything is a la cart, $11 for all the sides even the fries, is insane. Bill for 2 people including the mandatory 20 percent tip, without any alcohol, was $166.
