Some folks at the bar apparently feel the need to shout at their friend that is less than 2 feet away… certainly not King George’s fault

I go to the King George Inn on the first Saturday of each month with my best friend. We always enjoy the food. The staff is very nice to us and one of the servers had become a friend.

We love the King George Inn. It's located in a quaint town in a beautiful building and has great views. Staff is always friendly. One waiter--Charlie, has the BEST personality! He goes above and beyond to make sure you have an enjoyable meal. Anything we've ever ordered has been delicious. The King George is definitely a place to try! As most things these days, it is expensive. The menu is an "all day" menu, so if you're not looking to spend too much, stay away from the appetizers and entrees. Stick with sandwiches or tacos. They're delicious and you won't walk away hungry. Last night we were there for a birthday celebration. Party of 5. We had two appetizers; Crab Dip w/soft pretzels and Cheesesteak Spring Rolls. Both were exceptional and the spring rolls could be a meal in itself! Each had an entree; Waygu Burger, Fish & Chips, Chicken Parm, Prime Rib (off menu special) and Lobster Crab Cake (off menu special). A small dinner salad and two soups were also ordered. Total bill after tip was $240. So while I wouldn't say the "value" was exceptional, it was definitely more than fair considering it is an upscale restaurant and food is excellent.

Service and food were great. Had to overrule the hostess via the waiter to move to an unoccupied table by the window. Not really a place for young children. Will go back again.

The lobster bisque was thick and tasty. My husband and I ordered pork dishes. The meat was tremendously tender. Our server was busy (New Year's Eve), but managed to be attentive throughout our meal.

Last minute reservation made on New Year's Eve. Excellent service, our waitress new the menu, made suggestions, made it easy for us to choose. My husband opted for one of the specials she told us about. The entire staff were welcoming and provided excellent service as well. The ambiance was nice, and we already decided we will be going back!
