We had reservation, requested dining on second floor for the view. Instead were seated against the wall on the first floor right next to the busser station. All we heard was the clanking of cups dishes and table wear. Lamb special was sub par, very fatty and tasteless. Prime rib was also very fatty. This place is our go to for special occasions and we were very disappointed for the cost. Might be my last visit there.

Historic inn on the Delaware-beautiful view of the river from our table . Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. Menu is varied and drinks delicious! The Ricotta dip appetizer is amazing and could have been my entire meal! We had plenty of delicious food to take home-filet mignon and crab stuffed sole both with garlic mashed potatoes snd green beans. Perfect for before a show at Bristol Riverside Theater. We’ll be back!

We went there to celebrate my mother’s 82nd birthday. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and it was excellent. My mother ordered the fish and chips and my aunt ordered the crab cake. All of us raved over the meals. The ambiance overlooking the Delaware river was beautiful even in the rainy dismal weather. Recommend the King George Inn highly. Will definitely go back!!! The prices were reasonable as well and our waitress was wonderful.

Overall the experience was very good. The oysters were good, the mushroom soup was excellent(got some for takeout),my friend loved her pork chop. The only problem was my steak. At that price point I don't expect to chew and chew and chew and still have meat left in my mouth. I still have pieces caught in my teeth the next morning. I should have gotten the filet instead of the strip steak, but i was looking for a little more flavor. I don't like sending food back, but perhaps I should have. The only problem is that interrupts the dining experience. My creme brullee dessert was cold and unimpressive. There were no problems with the wait staff.

Casual dining at its best. No rushing you to eat and leave. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and knowledgeable. A+ to the chef and bartenders. Beautiful view of the Delaware River. Couldn’t go to a better place to eat.
