I really wanted to love King and Rye. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was nice—definitely a great spot for a night out. However, my experience was soured when I stepped away to use the restroom and returned to find my belongings had been moved and another group seated at my table. I hadn’t even been there an hour, and I certainly wasn’t finished dining. It was frustrating and disappointing to be treated that way, especially without any communication or courtesy from the staff. Good food doesn’t make up for poor hospitality.

The server was curt and rushed us to entire meal even though the restaurant was not full. I think he was more concerned with getting off. We won’t be back.

A friend and I had brunch here today and it was less than stellar. never ate here before and since I live locally, I wanted to try it. I ordered scrambled eggs, crispy potatoes/sausage. Specifically asked for "soft" eggs and to make sure they were not "hard". they came out hard! potatoes were over salted and not very crispy. Biscuit was too hard on the outside as it if were day old. my friend had eggs benedict and could not figure out what was on the muffin. turns out it was mushy pork belly bacon, hardly edible. We left most of the meal on the plate but the server never questioned if there was a problem when she came to clear. will not go back as there are many other choices.

The staff were really nice and accommodated our reservation even though we ran a couple minutes late! And the food was great.

Person who seated us had attitude and made comments because we were 3 minutes early. Said 3 minutes means a lot in the restaurant business. First attempted to seat us at a window, then changed his mind , telling us that table was for a "regular" customer. Rather than choosing another window seat in the nearly empty restaurant, he seated us by a wall between windows. Eggs were perfect, bacon did not remotely resemble bacon. Potatoes were tasteless. Waitress was excellent. It was no problem, I simply won't return or recommend this establishment to anyone.

Food tasted fresh. Service was prompt. It was great the restaurant called to confirm my reservation especially noting about my note on needing a high chair. We were accommodated nicely.

Music was too loud and took away from the experience. The food was decent but quite salty. They tried too hard to sell their whiskey.
