I had a great experience at Kerla Canteen. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The Biryani was a standout—beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The drinks were equally impressive, especially the Mango one. Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning soon!

Tasty small plates, ideal if a few of you so you get to try lots. Could have had a little more spice for us but very tasty. Well presented, restaurant pretty and comfortable however the music was a bit strange, would have preferred more authentic music which was on as we arrived then changed to very English old pop music.

Thank you Gillian for your feedback . our music selection is highly appreciated since we opened due to the fact we kept the old school not going to the typical Indian restaurant route this is our brand Identity of community dining with music relatable to be country we are in . Our focus is on Flavours and ingredients not again typical Indian restaurant spicy food . we look forward to welcome you back . we are ensuring our staff are trained on menu and pronunciation . Even for Indian certain authentic name is hard to pronounce .

The staff were very welcoming, helpful an efficient. The food was extremely tasty and different from the run of the mill, very interesting flavours, will definitely return to taste others on the menu especially the pudding

Really great authentic Keralan spiced cuisine (we have visited Kerala so we can vouch for this). We enjoyed all the dishes we tried. The waiting staff were helpful and attentive and the food was fairly priced. A must visit in Leeds.

This place is 10/10 all round! Absolutely stunning inside, From the furnishings, to the decor… just stunning! We were instantly greeted by a warm and friendly lady, taken straight to our table and attended to promptly. The food for us was incredible, I am not one to leave reviews however this place can not go unnoticed! We ordered lots off the menu, the meat was so succulent, the rice was fluffy and light, the beef and bone marrow curry is quite possibly one of the best things I have ever eaten. The calamari and fish was both superb and also the fried chicken was unbelievable. We ordered lots to share so we was lucky enough to taste most things of menu and I can honestly say the 1hr30mins drive was worth it, we most certainly will be back. Also I have to mention the masala chai.. Wow the best I have ever had by far, in fact I ordered another one. Over all great staff, great place and unbelievable value for such quality.
