   Food was great for its price point but service could be improved upon. Oysters were hit and miss, mine was good, my friend's one however, tasted off. A basic explaination of the dishes would have been good but instead the chef just mumbled. Handroll was fantastic but again, I had no idea what I was eating till we asked the chef what was inside. IMO, just explaining the origin of the produce would make quite the improvement.

   Food was great. Booked for Omakase experience with special notes for birthday & requested sushi bar however ignored. Went a la carte instead, still good food but average service & can be improved.

   We felt like home, although we were the only Non-Asian at that time. The only problem we came across that sake was not available by the glass, only by the bottle and that would have been too much for the two of us. Gabriel

   We had the 4 course table dining lunch set. Everything was cooked to perfection. The chawanmushi was very tasty and filled with great ingredients. Nigiri plate and houba steak were all made perfectly. Would highly recommend the omakase lunch set

   The food was excellent. I've had a lot of Japanese fine dining experiences in Melbourne and this is a cut above the rest. From just the way the flavours mix to even the thickness of the fish for the sushi, it's pretty easy to tell that a lot of thought and experience went into the dishes. The presentation is also nice if that is important to you.

   The food was great and much better than other pricey Omakase I've been to. Expected more drink options but what they were offering was not bad either.

   Food was okay but I would only go back for M9 steak. We ordered our lunch omakase at table but we got our starter later than steamed egg (so not in order) . Service wasn’t great either as we didnt get much of an explanation on what we were having. Quite disapppinted experience all together.

   Worst omakase experience ever. The food was pre- made, we ordered two $88 lunch omakase experiences, it’s a set menu not omakase. The steak was heated up second time, not fresh cooked. The rice of sushi was prepared way before they served, top of the rice was dry. The service was not great, they trying to take away our plates a couple of times when we obviously still going. They also spoke Chinese to my next table all the time. It feels not authentic Japanese restaurants at all.

   We had the best time to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. I never thought I would have such amazing and unforgettable Japanese fine dinning in Melbourne. The whole experience is top tier. The favour, the drinks, the flow, the services, the connection… it’s not just about the well thought and executed omakase but also how the whole team made us feel. Well done team 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    We were drawn in by the promise of an $88 lunch table omakase with "great value," but in reality, it had nothing to do with omakase at all. The food quality was disappointing—one of our chawanmushi servings was cold, and shockingly, it contained a piece of instant crab stick and some edamame. The service was also poor: dishes were brought out before we even finished the previous one, yet plates were left uncleared unless we actively asked. The sparkling water ($10 per person) was clearly from a previously opened bottle, as the first pour was nearly flat. Overall, the ingredients felt cheap and uninspired. If you want to offer a set menu, that's fine—but don't mislead customers by calling it omakase.
