   We made reservations for 6pm with sunset at 6:20. Fortunately, we were seated directly in front of the huge picture windows facing the Gulf of America and got to see a lovely sunset. Tony, our waiter, was very knowledgable and attentive and had some great recommendations for food. Two of the staff recommended the pork chop. We tried it and it did not disappoint! It was delicious. Kudos to the JWB staff and chefs. Highly recommend.

   They were out of our favorite sea scallops. The salmon was undercooked.

   We went to JWB on Valentines which may have been our mistake. When we made reservations there was nothing mentioned or posted about any special changes. As we were seated they explained “here is our prix fixe menu, there are no substitutions allowed.” The funny part was it was nearly identical standard menu with regular prices per dish, not prix fixe, and the items removed were unfortunately the items we wanted to try the most. We ordered the charcuterie to start and the menu said it was served with crackers. When it came out it had no crackers. We asked and they brought the thickest, hardest crostinis I have had at a restaurant. The charcuterie was very underwhelming with what appeared to be cold cuts and sliced cheese cut diagonal. There were a few decent cheeses. No mustard, honey, jam, crackers, that you would typically see. We had to select our main dishes carefully as no substitutions were allowed, and when they arrived they then informed was they were out of some items and substituted sides. The disappointment here was because we would have selected different entrees and enjoyed them much more with the sides they changed. The service was very slow and other diners were also annoyed with the speed of service. By time our drinks and appetizer came out there were only 5 tables seated in the restaurant. We did have one of their last reservations and didn’t expect perfection but for the price we definitely had much higher hopes. I always leave honest reviews and will say we will give them another chance on a regular day to see how the experience differs, before writing them off.

   Great food and service. But the noise level was one of the worst restaurants I have ever been too. I doubt I will come back with so many other options in Ft Myers Beach

   We prefer to come with an open vs planned smaller menu. It was so busy the chef couldn't exchange asparagus for preferred green beans. Prefer more flexibility but understand.

   The food was incredible! 5 of us and we all had something different. Pork chop was amazing, ribeye excellent, seafood pasta perfecto, filet was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Drinks were great too. Just a wonderful experience

   Top Notch in the area! The view was gorgeous and the food was premium! Staff was knowledgeable about all items being served. Would definitely recommend if your looking for high quality

   I'd recommend the Pork Chop at the JWB. It was excellent. Service was very good. Beautiful view of the sunset from the table.

    My mom and I had a great time celebrating my 45th birthday 🎂 at JWB Grill Fort Myers Beach 🥳 Tony really took care of us and he was super nice to us. He totally made my birthday super special. I cannot wait to go back next time we are in town and of course see our friend Tony!
