Yet again another amazing visit, usually restaurants that are open for 2-3 years it goes down hill or it changes. Here, the menu might change but the quality and expectations never cease to amaze. The waygu steaks are out of this world, the octopus is perfection in every bite!

Hidden gem that's just a stone's throw off of the bustling Old Town Scottsdale scene. So shhhh, don't tell anyone their steaks are as thich and delicious as Maple & Ash, or that the restaurant's dark cloistered aesthetic is giving "sassy dungeon" vibes as we may not be able to get a reservation to spend time with good friends in good company. We enjoyed the bawdy but tasteful art, the itty bitty bar, and inspired craft cocktails.

Given the price point and location, we would have expected a more welcoming experience. The food was very good; however, it was not as much of a wow as we expected. There was a lengthy wait between the appetizers and entrees. It seemed like the reviews mentioned a neighborhood vibe but it was quite slow this evening.

A really great meal. The chef was awesome. You can’t go wrong. Small, quiet and intimate inside. Very nice. Service was excellent.
