   On entering the restaurant I was very pleased with the flow and vibe, especially on the upper level. I was mentally ready for a very good experience. My initially door interaction was not pleasant as the greeter failed to acknowledge a line and proceeded to cater to visitors who came after me. This was immediately brought to his attention for which he apologized. The sleeveless waitresses stretching over my table and food to retrieve an item on the table was completely unacceptable. For the price of the meal I expected proper napkins and not the unattractive brown paper towels. The food (steaks) although cooked to my specification was serve very cold on and on cold plates. My kids find the sliders to be okay and not good as per previous experience elsewhere. I was most disappointed with no complementary starters for example, bread; as I have come to expect at this price point. The Crispy Mash, Craft Beer and Shirley Temples were good. It would have also been nice if there were a kids menu; as oppose to relying on the memory of the waitress to tell me what is available to my kids. At the end of the service I left feeling very underwhelmed and still hungry. I will not recommend this restaurant nor will I revisit same.

   My daughter went to dinner with her friends and their server was so sweet to them. Treated them to dessert, they had so much fun!

   We have been visiting Joey Yorkdale since it opened years ago. I had a business near by and chose Joey for meeting with clients. The food has always been pretty good, especially the Butcher Sandwich. The sandwich is no longer offered but the other food is pretty good. Today's Salmon was great but a customer ordered a Burger with cheese and bacon. The order was confused and the sandwich came with nothing on it but the burger patty. The patty looked pretty lousy on it's own but the customer knew what he had ordered and confirmed with the waitress. a trip was made to bring the burger back for bacon and cheese and then again for the sauce and then again for the toppings and then again for the ketchup ordered and then again for his drink. I think all in all the burger went back twice and the order wasn't correct until addressed by the waitress 6 times. Needless to say the burger was cold and kind of sucked. The bill was all there and a tip was expected and given. Sad to say but the place has gone downhill and may not be relied on by me to bring clients anytime soon.

   I’m not sure if people actually work here or just walk around looking clueless? Waited to be seated even though we had a reservation and the place was not busy. Our server was super sweet but rarely seen. Waited forever for everything. It seemed as though she forgot about us, but then she later explained she was searching for a band aid?? The entire staff seemed like they were half asleep and had no clue what they were doing there. We found ourselves asking the same thing. The food was great, but not worth the horrible service or lack there of.

   The cheese filled ravioli with shrimp in a white sauce was a hit . Excellent flavours combined . The guacamole dip was a great starter .

   My parents and fiancée had an AMAZING experience at Joey Yorkdale. We attended to celebrate the booking of our wedding venue (after months of hunting) and I could honestly say, the Joey Team was more excited for us than the event hall staff. Thank you for always making our experience here so special. This will continue to be our go-to restaurant to celebrate our achievements and milestones. 5+ stars all around. ⭐️

    We had an incredible experience thanks to the outstanding service provided by Lexa and Jasper. Jasper was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, guiding us through our choices with great recommendations. He ensured our drinks were always full and checked in on us at just the right times.
