   Nice experience as always. Appetizers should have been served hot, though. The drink was ok. Will return in the near future.

   This is my second visit to the manhattan Joey in less then a month, love the champagne greeting, food selection & service but what impressed me the most was the guest service manager JENNIFER MATTOCKS, the first time we where there in December they assigned the wrong table (high) for us, the place was busy and buzzing, I asked them to please change it, the young lady seating us asked me to wait while she checked with her manager, out of curiosity I followed her with my eyes and I saw her talking to this very elegant lady that was wiping tables, removing plates and helping seating groups while answering questions from few of the waiters and servers. as she was approaching the front desk I asked who she is and she introduced herself with a big smile as the manager and she assured me that she will change my table and started directing the young lady to what to do and where to seat us, in few minutes we where seated and happy, I was utterly impressed about how she was handling multiple shores and accommodating demanding customers like myself while she is also in high heels and keeping a big smile on her face, an amazing model of great customer experience . Today 1/5/25 I was meeting with another group of 7 friends and they booked another place for lunch close to the beach, we sat down and again had an issue with our table and the staff couldn't help us and looked clueless, everyone agreed to leave and I got up and booked a table at Joey remembering what a great experience we had last time from the staff, as I was walking in, here was Jennifer again at the front desk as elegant as always, looked at me, greeted me with a smile and said welcome back confirming she remembers me.. !! As we where enjoying our meal on an outside table right by the entrance, a child walking in spilled a large bottle of water, immediately I see Jennifer running out with rags got on her knees started wiping the floor while directing customers and staff while putting up a wet floor sign...wow

   This was my first time here and overall had a fair experience. The ambience is incredible, the layout of the restaurant is great. Modern, amazing design. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve had. They offered complimentary champagne on check-in. Definitely a nice plus. Only reason I rated the place low is because of our waiters lack of checking up on us. We waited an unusually long time to get our tab. A few sides that we orderd took a while to arrive at our table. My table was on a schedule and short on time and this wasn’t great.

   Receptionist said that I needed some type of special reservation to sit inside. She didn’t know that I had been there at least 10 times and this was the first time I had ever heard of this.I spend no less than $300 everytime I go. I guess she assumed I was there for the happy hour menu LIAR!

   Food was okay. Waitress was a bit slow and didn’t get milk we ask for for express drink. It was okay but probably will go back for happy hour. Drinks too much.

   I met a friend for lunch at JOEY on Saturday. It was just okay. I didn't love the item I ordered as my entrée, the chicken lettuce wraps, not realizing everything was deep fried like calamari and very sweet. Our server didn't check back with us after we had tried our food so I wasn't able to express my disappointment (and possibly get another dish). Our server was distracted with other tables so our service level was not up to par. My friend liked her burger well enough.

   The food was good. Waiting over 10 minutes for extra ketchup is not okay. Receiving a complimentary piece of cake for my friend’s birthday was nice. Getting cake plopped on table without any well wishes and a candle felt very low brow.

    Very expensive ok food. Sorry- we have been here several times. The butter chicken is very good. Spaghetti not great. Steak frites is not really like steak frites - good but over priced. ( very small steak, but good gaslit steak). Good service, friendly beautiful people. “Free” bubbly is not necessary at the door, but a nice touch we all pay for. Ambiance is of a classy, sports bar — it’s more fun to eat at the bar than in the restaurant. Three entrees, two cocktails, two mock tails, one dessert = $250!).
