   My colleagues and I have been going to joey’s for after work drinks, lunches, dinner and for various no good reasons since it opened, so 20 years give or take a few! Today, is yet another celebratory milestone event - the retirement of one of our dear colleagues and friend! The complimentary champagne and deserts for 10-12 people were fantastic! Service as always fantastic as we’ve come to know many of the service staff on a first name basis! Ambiance awesome! Guess I should have written a review a long time ago as this is a fantastic place to go for business meetings and for gatherings!

   Chris was excellent! Great recommendations and service. Our food was great, good prices during happy hours. It felt like the desserts are from another world. So good! Overall experience is great; will definitely come back again. Thank you, JOEY's team!

   I ordered the Blackened Chicken. It is consistently delicious. The hot potato salad that comes with it, is amazing.

   Overall, mid. Nothing special on the menu. Disappointed with the beverage menu being largely not Canadian/BC, given all the local options.

   Three of us dined on a Saturday evening, before a concert at the Orpheum, and the restaurant was busy. The service was great, the server friendly and efficient, the ambiance was a bit dark, making reading the menu a challenge, also noisy. The hamburgers 2 of us had were good, the other diner had good things to say about his steak and frites. For dessert, we opted to share the donuts and they were delicious too. An enjoyable meal and a good start to an entertaining, music-filled night.

    Downtown location, Our server was great. We were a party of 3, ordered a few appies, taking our time before a show. Ordered dinner and drinks . Drinks were great. Our dinners came less than 6 minutes after ordering, the burgers were room temp and the fries were cold. Sent back the fries , ate the tepid burgers. They were good about it but obviously our meals were cooked before we ordered or they would have been hot upon arrival. Busy Saturday night. Normally love Joey! Won't stop me from going to my usual Joey Restaurant in .
